10 spacious pockets

Featuring ten functional pockets, the shorts offer exceptional versatility:

  • Two traditional hip pockets with reinforced openings
  • Four thigh pockets, including two spacious zippered options and two slim pockets secured with Velcro
  • Four rear pockets—two large ones and two slimmer pockets positioned within the larger ones

Easy fit of the pants to the figure

A broad Velcro closure allows for waist adjustment up to 6 cm, replacing the traditional button in the shorts. The waistband is equipped with an elastic insert to enhance the fit to individual body shape. Two front belt loops at the bottom feature additional loops, suitable for attaching gear such as a carabiner.

    After many other clothing items from Helikon, it was time for shorts. I have both lengths, both 8.5" and 11". Personally, I prefer the longer variant—they reach just below the knee. The material is thin and breathable, making the shorts very comfortable and lightweight—it's almost like you don't feel them on your body. At the same time, the material is durable, and the shorts are well sewn, which guarantees longevity for many seasons. They have my favorite, best pocket layout that I know from long pants, such as the Hybrid Outback DuraCanvas. In addition, there is a very large selection of color versions—something missing from other Helikon clothing items. What more could you want? Just get them and use them!

    The shorts are solidly made and have functional pockets. The cut and sizing are a bit strange, though. They could be a little looser in the crotch or have a higher rise. For the declared size, however, they are quite tight.

    Interesting shorts, they handled the heat well. There are plenty of pockets and they are useful, although I missed some extra small ones next to the main pockets, like in a few other Helikon trouser models. Any downsides? - strange sizing. The XXL fits very tightly at the waist and seat, whereas I wear XL in SFU/Next and those are loose. - they could have a higher rise, or possibly some kind of back yoke; when bending over, it gets uncomfortably close to the "plumber’s crack".

These pants fit me perfectly, as if they were made especially for me, mainly thanks to the Velcro fastenings and Versa stretch material. The Husar Range Belt 2.0 inner belt fits inside, so you can easily wear them to the shooting range :-D The shorts reach (just a little) below the knee - they also have asymmetrically shaped legs to additionally cover the knee. Highly recommend! One note - I suggest ordering a size smaller than indicated in the chart.
