10 spacious pockets

Constructed with ten functional pockets, the shorts offer ample storage for essential gear:

  • two classic hip pockets reinforced at the edges for added durability
  • four thigh pockets, including two spacious zippered compartments and two slim Velcro-secured pockets
  • four back pockets, featuring two large outer pockets each housing an additional slim pocket inside

Easy fit of the pants to the figure

A traditional button closure has been replaced by a wide Velcro fastener adjustable by up to 6 cm. The waistband is equipped with a sewn-in elastic band to enhance the shorts’ adaptability to various body types. Additional loops for attaching equipment such as a carabiner are integrated into the two lower front belt loops.

    Anyone who knows Helikon UTP pants knows more or less what to expect. The only difference is the lack of a leg below the knee... Exactly, because these shorts with an 8.5-inch length (as opposed to 11") end above the knee, which is much more comfortable. The YKK zipper on the fly works as smoothly as literally no other, you can feel the quality. For those curious about the color, Adaptive Green is very similar to the photos, maybe just a bit darker. In every other photo on different sites this color looks different and I was wondering how it would look in real life – it is as shown on the site. The sizing is accurate, the legs are quite wide, they do not restrict movement.

    Great shorts, I chose the red ones and they look beautiful, and the red is quite subdued. Lots of roomy pockets and an elastic waistband for a perfect fit. I chose size XXL, weigh 99 kg, and have a slight belly. They fit perfectly.

    The Helikon-Tex UTS Denim Stretch shorts turned out to be a great choice for me for summer and everyday wear. From the outside, they resemble classic denim shorts, but in terms of comfort they are clearly better. The stretchy material makes them comfortable for walking, sitting, driving, and moving around all day. The fit is standard; nothing feels tight or restricts movement. Another big advantage is the well-designed pockets. You can easily arrange your phone, keys, wallet, and other small items, and the whole thing does not look as bulky as with regular shorts. The Marine Blue color is subdued and easy to pair with a T-shirt, shirt, or light sweatshirt. For demanding trips, I would choose a more typically outdoor model, but for the city, travel, walks, and casual outings outside town, these shorts perform very well. I am satisfied with them because they combine comfort with a good everyday look.

    Comfortable shorts with fairly wide legs. The length is standard, ending above the knee. They have plenty of well-thought-out pockets, most of which can be closed. The back pocket has an interesting cut. The zipper works smoothly, and the hook-and-loop fastener is holding well so far; hopefully it won’t lose its grip over time and start coming undone. The quality is at a high level.

    Like the whole UTP series (currently being changed to the UTS series), in my opinion it's amazing. You just have to remember that the length 8.5' ends above the knee, so you need to choose accordingly for your preference the right leg length.

    If you need sturdy and practical shorts for the summer, these are just for you. I bought them after previous good experiences with the Helikon-Tex brand. The shorts met my expectations: the PolyCotton Rip-Stop fabric is durable yet lightweight, and the number and arrangement of pockets is very well thought out. The Velcro closure at the waist allows for easy adjustment. They are extremely comfortable, and I am fully satisfied with my purchase.
