WindPack utilizes an ultra-light nylon fabric, engineered to deliver effective wind resistance. Highly robust and easy to compress, this material packs down into extremely compact sizes. Enhanced with a Teflon DWR finish, the surface effectively resists water, delivering additional protection from light precipitation. Mesh lining guarantees optimal breathability.

A shock cord featuring two stoppers allows for easy adjustment of the waist to match the wearer’s body shape. Full-length double zippers along the legs provide quick on and off capabilities without the need to remove footwear, while also promoting effective air flow. At the bottom of the leg, an additional Velcro fastening secures the zipper against unintentional opening and enables adjustment of the leg width.

    They work perfectly as backup pants for windy days! Once folded, they take up minimal space. I have the impression that Helikon has changed their sizing – XL regular would be just right, while the “long” version seems longer than before. I am 182 cm tall and should have chosen XL Regular. The pants are made from the same material as the Tramontane jacket and work really well!

    The pants are of very good quality. Perfect for light rain and provide good wind protection. You can put them on directly over shoes and other pants. I recommend them.
