WindPack material, DWR coating

WindPack features an ultra-lightweight nylon construction, engineered to provide effective wind resistance. Despite its robust durability, the material folds effortlessly, making compact packing possible. Enhanced with a Teflon DWR finish, the fabric provides water repellency, delivering reliable defense against light rainfall. For optimal breathability, a mesh lining has been integrated.

Equipped with 4 pockets secured by YKK zippers:

Easy waist adjustment is provided by a shock cord with two stoppers, allowing for a precise fit to the body. Full-length double zippers on the legs enable rapid donning and removal without the need to take off footwear, and also enhance ventilation. At the bottom of the leg, an additional Velcro fastening safeguards the zipper against unintentional opening and permits adjustment of the leg width.

    They work perfectly as backup pants for windy days! Once folded, they take up minimal space. I have the impression that Helikon has changed their sizing – XL regular would be just right, while the “long” version seems longer than before. I am 182 cm tall and should have chosen XL Regular. The pants are made from the same material as the Tramontane jacket and work really well!

    The pants are of very good quality. Perfect for light rain and provide good wind protection. You can put them on directly over shoes and other pants. I recommend them.
