Ferrocerium flint operates by vigorously striking the rod with the sharp edge of a striker. Through this action, the cerium in the rod oxidizes and spontaneously ignites. A single swipe of the striker produces sparks reaching temperatures of 3000 deg. C, which, when landing on prepared tinder, can ignite a flame even in extreme cold or heavy rain.

The exterior features a wind-resistant softshell crafted from rugged 210T polyester with a reinforced Rip-Stop Square weave for enhanced durability. The interior is lined with microfiber for added comfort. A small pocket inside provides space for essential accessories.

Insulation is comprised of 3D micro polyester fibers at 200 g/m2, delivering reliable synthetic warmth with excellent loft and thermal efficiency, even in damp environments. Enhanced 3D fiber structure ensures optimal fill distribution, effectively reducing cold spots. A reinforced foot zone further protects against heat loss.

Equipped with a two-way central zipper, the sleeping bag can be fully unzipped. An internal flap is integrated to prevent the fabric from snagging in the zipper.

Featuring an integrated hood, this design boosts thermal insulation by enclosing the head and minimizing heat escape. The contoured form provides superior defense against both wind and moisture.

Designed for ease of transport and storage, the sleeping bag packs down to 35 x 25 x 25 cm and has a weight of 2600 g, providing optimal convenience for carrying.

Equipped with a durable compression sack, the sleeping bag stays protected during transport and is safeguarded against dirt and potential damage.
