I've been using it for a little over a year now. The waterproofness is not amazing, but it definitely holds up for most rainfall, though you do feel a bit of dampness on the clothes underneath after a while. One of the bigger downsides is the Velcro on the wrists; it was practically never used (fastened once, and I don't touch it unless it gets caught somewhere and opens), and on the left hand, it doesn't hold at all now. Also, the main zipper is already visibly worn out at the very bottom—I don't know how much longer it will last, but for now I have no problems with it. Other than that, it's a nice jacket, comfortable, with big pockets, and the hood visor does its job.

Very good tactical jacket for its price. The Highlander Forces Tactical Softshell Arid MC Camo jacket is solidly made and comfortable to wear. The material is flexible, and the inner fleece keeps warmth well, so the jacket works great on colder days. An additional advantage is the breathable membrane and DWR coating, which protect against light rain and wind. The jacket also has many practical pockets and an adjustable hood. The camouflage looks very good, and the whole gives the impression of being durable and functional.

At a promotional price of about 50% off the catalog price, this is a great product. It fits perfectly for someone who is 183cm/93kg with an 'athletic' body build. Wearing a fleece underneath keeps thermal comfort at -3 to 2°C, light wind and drizzle, walking through forests for 15km/3.5h. Similarly, an hour at the shooting range mostly lying still – it works well. There is no info in the description; I looked online – the membrane has parameters of 5000/5000 and it works. The Arid Penta camouflage looks better in real life than in pictures. These are impressions after just one week of intensive use, we'll see how it holds up over time. The only annoying thing is the hood in the collar – it's just thick and unpleasant, I removed it permanently because I like hoods and problem solved.

The jacket looks very good. The overall appearance as well as the camouflage itself are definitely a plus. The pockets are fine, although I do miss a bit those side ones at the bottom. The collar, in which the hood is packed, unfortunately becomes quite thick and may get in the way a bit; it is certainly not soft and snug around the neck. But I definitely don't regret the purchase. I give it 4/5. Best regards to everyone.

The jacket worked well until it rained. When I used it during a fairly heavy downpour, the entire upper part started leaking after about 20 minutes.

Great and comfortable jacket, perfect for windy and rainy days. A large number of well-thought-out pockets is fantastic. The sizing runs a bit small; I always take XL, but based on previous reviews I ordered XXL and it fits perfectly. I recommend this jacket.

Great seam quality. Pockets in critical spots - a well-designed pass-through pocket on the back of the jacket. Additional ventilation under the arms - a great idea!

Good jacket, but for me it has a couple of tiny drawbacks, of which two annoy me the most. First, the hood rolled up and hidden feels like a bolster on the neck, which unfortunately irritates me a bit, and second, I feel like I struggle with some of the zippers for too long—it goes very stiffly without the help of the other hand. Nonetheless, these are minor shortcomings, and in my opinion, it is worth its price and worth recommending.

The jacket is carefully made. Comfortable, has lots of easily accessible pockets. The hidden hood is a plus for me. The sizing is slightly understated, so if someone would like to wear the jacket over a thicker sweatshirt, I suggest buying a larger size. I recommend it 100%.

I don't know if anyone has bought this softshell yet, but it's great. You could complain that there is no velcro panel on the right sleeve and no small pockets in the right large pocket like there are in the left large pocket, but that's a small thing. Overall, the jacket is very good. The sizing matches the provided chart. I definitely recommend the purchase.
