The mat is generally ok, but after a few uses, it started to come apart and "swell up" in the place where you inflate it. It wasn't over-inflated. After I reported a complaint, it was quickly replaced with a new one. In the received copy, so far, there are no problems. We'll see after some time. It's fine for spring and autumn, but in winter you need to add something to keep warm.

I would give it a 6 if that were possible. I was skeptical before purchasing. The material has two advantages: it is durable (relatively - don't test it with scissors!), and it crinkles only minimally (I am very sensitive to any crinkling - here, it doesn't bother me at all). The valve is fine (one for inflating, another for releasing air). When the mat is compressed (right after unfolding), it doesn't want to 'self-inflate' – that's normal – the construction is ultra-durable – you need to inflate it by mouth. And to the point – the construction is really durable – you can walk back and forth on it (I'm not 'lightweight') and it doesn't break. Sleeping on it is VERY comfortable. Note: I advise against risking using it outdoors as a primary ground layer – any sharp elements like branch edges, cones, or stones could potentially puncture it – I suggest using any kind of foam pad (even the lightest) as a base under the air mat. The only thing that worried me was: there is no adhesive for patches (for punctures), and no information about what kind of adhesive to buy so that the chemicals don't damage the material but hold as best as possible (shoot me, I don't know much about adhesives).

The mat is comfortable and takes up little space when folded, which was the deciding factor for me. The material it's made of looks solid. The only downside (possibly because it was folded for too long) is that it takes a long time to inflate completely, and I get the impression that if I don’t help it, it will never fully inflate on its own. I can’t rate its insulation from the ground because I haven’t had a chance to test it outdoors yet.

The mat is good and comfortable for those who prefer a slightly firmer surface. Its only drawback is its size when folded. If not for that, I wouldn't return it — it’s quite large, which is why I chose the Highlander MatPak mattress instead; it's definitely smaller and lighter. If you like a firmer surface, don’t like sleeping just on air, and size doesn’t matter to you, go for this one. If you don’t mind a rustling mattress and prefer a smaller, lighter folded size, I recommend the MatPak mattress more.

The mat is quite thin but comfortable during rainy periods. Together with the Mil Tec mat, which is 5mm thick, it works really well. I bought it with the idea of using it for my first winter camping trips; whether it will perform, we'll see, but it looks very promising, just like the valve, which is sturdier than in most mats of comparable price.
