Constructed from a material that is highly resistant to mechanical impacts and shocks, the thermal imager features a compact form and integrated seals, ensuring the housing achieves the IP67 standard for protection against dust, debris, and submersion in water up to 1 meter deep for up to 30 minutes. Rubberized buttons enhance operation by providing quiet, discreet use. Reliable performance is maintained across a broad temperature range, from -30 to +45 degrees Celsius.

A state-of-the-art thermal sensor utilizing 12 μm technology with a 384 × 288 px resolution forms the heart of the device, delivering a crisp, highly detailed image along with outstanding sensitivity to temperature variations. Visual output is rendered on an AMOLED display boasting 1920 × 1080 pixel resolution. Engineered to reduce eye strain during extended use, the screen guarantees optimal comfort for users. Equipped with advanced Image Pro 3.0 and Zoom Pro algorithms, the device improves image clarity, contrast, and detail, supporting magnification from 2.5× to 20×. These features facilitate the detection and identification of objects at both close proximity and greater distances. The maximum detection range reaches up to 1200 meters.

Equipped with six distinct image display modes, the device enhances detection and identification of targets in varying conditions:

• White hot – increased temperature results in a brighter display
• Black hot – higher temperatures cause a darker image tone
• Red hot – similar to "white hot" but with the hottest areas marked in red
• Fusion – colors transition from white, yellow, red, pink, to purple according to temperature, from highest to lowest
• Red Monochrome – a red-only palette minimizes eye strain during prolonged viewing
• Green Monochrome – a green-only palette designed for extended observation without causing eye fatigue

The Lynx LH25 3.0 incorporates HSIS (HIKMICRO Shutterless Image System) technology, effectively eliminating the requirement for traditional calibration and enabling uninterrupted, seamless observation without any "image freezes." Users can sustain complete concentration on their target, irrespective of environmental conditions.

The thermal imager enables photo and video recording directly to its built-in 64 GB internal memory. Files stored on the device can be transferred to a computer via a USB cable or sent wirelessly to a smartphone or tablet using the integrated Wi-Fi module, allowing operation with devices such as a phone running a dedicated app HIKMICRO Sight.

Equipped with a replaceable and rechargeable Li-Ion 18650 battery, the thermal imager delivers up to 5 hours of continuous use. A built-in USB-C port supports easy recharging via a car charger, computer, or power bank.
