The HS515CM red dot sight from American manufacturer Holosun incorporates advanced Solar FailSafe technology. The sight utilizes a solar cell for power in optimal lighting and switches to a traditional battery under reduced light conditions. Additionally, the cell serves as a light sensor, automatically adapting the dot brightness to ambient lighting. Its compact dimensions and lightweight construction make it ideal for sporting applications. Compatible with a wide range of firearms, including shotguns, pistols, air rifles, and crossbows.
Equipped with dual reticles, users can select between a 2 MOA dot or a 2 MOA dot combined with a 65 MOA circle. The sight’s lenses feature multi-layer coatings to guarantee comprehensive light transmission. At a distance of 100 m, the circle covers approximately 170 cm. The optic is parallax-free and features an unlimited eye relief system.
Alongside the solar panel, energy is supplied by a side-mounted CR2032 battery housed in a screw-in compartment. Thanks to LED illumination, operational runtime can reach up to 50,000 hours per battery. The LED technology ensures the brightness is safe for the eyes.
A memory function recalls the last brightness setting used, and the sight features Shake Awake technology, which activates the device from sleep mode with minimal movement.
Manufactured from 7075-T6 aluminum via CNC machining, the housing is extremely durable, shockproof, and water-resistant in compliance with the IPX8 standard. The streamlined profile preserves an expansive field of view, enabling swift target acquisition alongside complete situational awareness during binocular aiming. Partially recessed turrets are shielded by metal caps, providing substantial protection against impact.
The included accessories feature a QD Lower 1/3 Co-Witness mount (1.63") and a Killflash (honeycomb) anti-glare cover, compatible with transparent Flip-Up lens caps. Designed for attachment to Picatinny or Weaver rail systems.
