After about a month of use, I can confidently recommend the Gromy Hunter tactical boots. I mainly use them for airsoft games and walks in the forest. The boots are very comfortable, the foot breathes well, and even during an all-day game my feet don't sweat much. You can drive in them normally, so they're also suitable for everyday use. At first, before breaking them in, they were slightly uncomfortable, but that's pretty normal for leather boots. After a few wears, they fitted my feet well. It's worth paying attention to the sizing and it's best to look at the insole length. I usually wear size 44, but here I bought 45 and they fit perfectly. Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase and I can definitely recommend Gromy from Hunter to anyone looking for comfortable footwear for airsoft and the forest.

I'm surprised by some comments about a narrow fit. I have a wide foot at the instep and they don't pinch me. I bought size 42 but chose based on insole length. They're quite comfortable, easy to drive in, and easy to clean. I recommend them.

I don't agree with the negative reviews. I bought these shoes as well as the Zephyr Grom for comparison, which had many more reviews (hundreds) and supposedly better. I've been walking with my dog for two weeks and nothing chafes, my feet don't hurt. The shoes hold the ground very well. I'm considering buying a second pair. And don't write nonsense that "you can buy a better product for this price." That's like expecting a Mercedes for the price of a Skoda—it's just not possible.

The shoes are tight, not very comfortable, the sizing runs small, they look quite decent, but they are definitely not for wide feet. At this price, you can find something much better.

The shoes are strong and durable, with a thick sole, good grip, and ankle support, so they are suitable for long walks and rougher terrain. They are breathable and dry quickly, but the size runs a bit smaller, so you should choose according to the insole, and a person with wide feet might feel some tightness around the toes.

I chose the Hunter boots out of curiosity because my Protectors, bought in 2016, have just given out and the price for new ones is sky-high. Naturally, it's impossible to avoid comparisons, so: *The Hunters are stiffer in the upper, which on one hand nicely secures the ankle joint, but can be slightly irritating at first (until they break in), especially when driving a car. *The tongue is integrated with the upper for about 50% of its length (the Protectors for 90%), which is supposed to protect against snow and similar things getting inside. *The sole is the same kind of cast bonded to the upper part of the boot as in the Protectors, BUT they have weaker heel cushioning compared to those, but do have a more comfortable insole (I also added an athletic insole and now it's pleasantly soft when walking). *Traction is adequate. *The Hunters are slightly narrower than their competitor counterparts, so people with wide feet may feel some discomfort—at least until they break in. *The sizing is the biggest controversy with these boots. Looking at the insole length in the size chart, I should have bought size 45, but after reading comments, I went with 46 and it turned out I was right. I waterproofed the boots and wore them for two days in a row, 2x10h, in -8C temperatures. They did not soak through, performed well, but as I mentioned, they require breaking in. I’m curious how they will behave after tens of kilometers, because the Protectors tended to become kayak-shaped, both in length and width. The Hunters’ stiffness suggests that they should hold their shape. The durability of these boots is still an open question, as I’ve had them too briefly to judge.

Undersized sizing. Size 46 is like 45 in other shoes. Also, the front is narrow, but I have a wide foot so they might fit someone else. On the plus side, they look well made.

Very lightweight, always buy shoes based on the insole length, that way they will always fit. The shoes are unstable, very comfortable. I also bought socks and laces, and now I'm set for a few years. In comfortable shoes, everything is more beautiful. I sincerely recommend the purchase. Remember, we buy shoes according to insole length and foot width.

The leather is better than in the Protectors, the lining seems thicker but absorbs less sweat. The sole is stiffer, which is good for me, but if someone expects the same softness as in the Protectors, they will be disappointed. Sprayed with impregnation, they withstood light rain and the first snow. Worn for 8-12 hours, they do the job and dry quickly from sweat. On the downside, damn, they could have 10 eyelets instead of 8, so snow wouldn't get inside the upper ;)
