JB Tacticals A.C.T. Pressure Dressing with Active Compression 10 cm

Field dressing intended for the quick and effective treatment of massive hemorrhages, wounds, and injuries requiring effective surface compression It will prove useful in civilian rescue operations as well as on the battlefield. It was developed at the Medical University of Lodz

It consists of an elastic bandage 10 cm wide and 180 cm long (stretches to approx. 360 cm), a modular dressing pad measuring 10 x 13 cm and a wound packing module

The segmented pad measuring 10 x 13 cm uses four active compression inserts arranged in a 2 x 2 layout. Upon contact with blood, the inserts increase in volume, helping to maintain and extend pressure over a larger surface area The design makes it easier to fit the dressing to extensive, irregular, and multi-point wounds, as well as to difficult anatomical areas.

The dressing is equipped with a wound packing module with eight active, round compression inserts. The module enables filling deep and irregular wounds and can also serve as an additional element increasing pressure. The starting loop makes application easier to begin, the velcro system supports gradual increase of compression, and the final velcro fastener and buckle stabilize the dressing after application.

The dressing is sterile and has been packed in double waterproof, airtight foil packaging containing special notches for easier opening. On the back there are application instructions in Polish, Ukrainian, and English along with pictograms.
