Knife with an overall length of 298 mm and a 178 mm blade featuring a Clip-Point profile, made from 1095 Cro-Van tool steel. The model is equipped with a partially serrated edge. The blade is covered with a black matte coating that prevents corrosion and reduces glare. The handle scales are made from Kraton G material in black. The set includes a sheath made from damage-resistant GFN-PA66 composite.

1095 Cro-Van tool steel is distinguished by its high chip resistance, making it well-suited for knives intended for heavier field work. The addition of chromium and vanadium improves hardenability, edge stability, and wear resistance compared to classic 1095 steel. This material is easy to re-sharpen and, with regular maintenance, ensures very good blade durability.

Clip-Point blade, partially serrated edge

A blade 178 mm long and 4.2 mm thick with a Clip-Point profile, designed for precise work. This profile is particularly useful in outdoor and EDC applications, where a combination of high piercing ability and optimal blade control is required.

This model features a flat grind, providing increased resistance to damage while maintaining good cutting properties. The blade surface is coated with a black matte finish that eliminates light reflections and protects the steel from environmental factors.

Handle scales made from Kraton G material

The handle is made from Kraton G thermoplastic rubber, equipped with a steel cross guard to protect the hand from slipping onto the blade and a steel pommel which can serve as a field hammer.

Sheath made of GFN-PA66 composite

The set includes a rigid sheath made from lightweight and damage-resistant GFN-PA66 composite, equipped with a belt loop for attachment to a belt. Holes and loops placed on each side of the sheath allow for multi-positional mounting on gear.

Ka-Bar is a brand whose history dates back to the late 19th century, and which gained real fame during World War II, when the Fighting Utility model was officially adopted by the US Marine Corps. The durable and versatile knife quickly became legendary, proving itself both in combat and in the daily tasks of soldiers. The name Ka-Bar itself comes from the 1920s, when a trapper described in a letter how he managed to “kill a bear” with a Union Cutlery knife. In 1952, wanting to emphasize the power of this symbol, the company officially changed its name to Ka-Bar Knives Inc., and its products are still considered a model of reliability today. Its carbon content of 0.95-1.1% gives it high hardness (58-60 HRC), making it ideal for the production of survival, tactical, and outdoor knives. The steel also contains chromium (0.4-0.6%), molybdenum (up to 0.06%), vanadium (0.15-0.25%), manganese (0.3-0.5%), and silicon (0.15-0.25%), which contribute to its abrasion resistance and improved edge stability.     Perfectly fitting handle for the hand. A wide guard that will protect your hand even if you drive the knife into a rock like Excalibur. Beautiful, black, thick, and extremely sharp blade, which immediately after taking it out of the box, without any additional sharpening, shaves hair on the forearm (that’s how I always check knives). Tactical (but without unnecessary quirks) black composite sheath with a wide belt loop, buckle, and holes that allow you to attach the knife. A beautiful ideal!
