The Combat Kukri is designed as a compact version, measuring about 20% smaller than Ka-Bar's renowned Kukri Machete.

Forged from a single piece of 1095 Cro-Van steel with a hardness rating of 56-58 HRC, the blade features a matte black coating that protects against both glare and corrosion.

Featuring the classic Kukri blade shape, this tool is ideal for demanding outdoor tasks—clearing brush, cutting branches, slicing through grass, as well as digging or processing game. The substantial blade thickness and forward-weighted balance make it exceptionally efficient for chopping and slicing.

A handle crafted from thermoplastic Kraton G material guarantees a secure, non-slip grip, even when hands are wet or dirty. The integrated cross guard at the base prevents accidental hand movement onto the blade.

Supplied with a sheath constructed from strong, black nylon and internally reinforced with Kydex, the set also includes an extra pocket lined with Kydex for added durability.

Ka-Bar

Militaria.pl is a premium dealer of Ka-Bar.

Ka-Bar is a brand whose history dates back to the late 19th century, and which gained real fame during World War II, when the Fighting Utility model was officially adopted by the US Marine Corps. The durable and versatile knife quickly became legendary, proving itself both in combat and in the daily tasks of soldiers. The name Ka-Bar itself comes from the 1920s, when a trapper described in a letter how he managed to “kill a bear” with a Union Cutlery knife. In 1952, wanting to emphasize the power of this symbol, the company officially changed its name to Ka-Bar Knives Inc., and its products are still considered a model of reliability today. An important chapter in the brand's history is also its collaboration with Ethan Becker, which resulted in the Becker series, highly valued by users, combining practical solutions with a modern approach to knife design.

Great knife, just as you would expect from the brand. In the description it is listed as a machete, although I could argue with that, it’s rather just a large knife. The blade is very hard and does not lose sharpness easily, even when chopping dry wood. The only thing to watch out for is corrosion, the edge quickly becomes covered with a film.
