It does its job. A small, durable tool. Good for trips and at home, to sharpen knives. I mainly use it for my survival knife. It will last a lifetime. I recommend it.

Now I also wanted this model, because I heard that for some knives made of harder steel it is better. Very nice sharpener. You can feel that you have something solid in your hand, because it's a bit heavy. It's a pity it doesn't have a rod for sharpening serrated blades. And the price could be a bit lower. The package was sent instantly after placing the order.

Lansky is Lansky, there's not much more to say about the sharpener's quality. It's just very good. It is a bit heavy, but that's more of a plus—you can feel it in your hand. The only thing I'm missing is a rod for sharpening serrated blades.

The sharpener is simply perfect for trips. For touch-ups during work, it performs excellently. I tried to sharpen a completely dull axe and unfortunately it didn't work, so don't buy it thinking you'll sharpen larger blades from scratch.

I'd like to add something to an earlier opinion. The 30 degree sharpener is suitable for sharpening Hultafors HY 10-1,0 SV 1000g axes. Sometimes it gets stuck a little, but it's not a big problem. It sharpened the axe amazingly well.

I have two Lansky sharpeners: Multi-Angle D-Sharp and C-Sharp. In fact, as the C-Sharp description warns, the four sharpening slots ("V-shape", 600) are very aggressive. The D-Sharp ("V-shape", diamond 600) sharpened knives made of O2, More Gerber, More stainless steel, an old Gerlach pocketknife, and an old German hunting knife very nicely. I'm not sure if I've worn down the diamonds, but I'm having minor trouble sharpening the 440A blade on my Boker Magnum knife. Due to moving the knife, the rods rotate from time to time.
