A very useful holder/mount, and I'm surprised it isn't already included in the standard sets, but that's just the company's policy. Once folded, it fits easily in the Lansky set box. Very lightweight. It needs to be screwed down or it will tip over. In general, I RECOMMEND!!

I have mixed feelings about this product. When placed on the stand, the holder is not as stable during use as one might expect, so you still have to stabilize everything well by hand. Given the not-so-low price for an extra accessory, I expected something a bit different...

The base is almost essential for the system. It should be included in the sets from the start. Unfortunately, you have to pay extra for it. The base itself is very good and solid—no complaints. Once folded, it can fit into the box with the sharpeners, so your tools stay organized.

Necessary and very helpful for complete satisfaction. I just don't understand why the manufacturer doesn't include such an obvious element with the rest of the set from the start...

I waited patiently for the product to be available because I wanted a base to mount the entire sharpening set. Now I finally have a complete set and working on maintaining my gear is much more convenient... Additionally, the build quality is very good—well-deserved 5*.
