A very useful holder/mount, and I'm surprised it isn't already included in the standard sets, but that's just the company's policy. Once folded, it fits easily in the Lansky set box. Very lightweight. It needs to be screwed down or it will tip over. In general, I RECOMMEND!!

Medium quality product. Ordinary plastic, although I think that's all you need. Generally a useful thing, but it's worth noting that it only makes sense when you screw the stand to the countertop, otherwise it's completely useless. The base is a great addition to Lansky sets; I would even say it's essential for maintaining the correct angles. It's stable, and the sharpener doesn't move. I recommend it as it makes sharpening much easier.

I have mixed feelings about this product. When placed on the stand, the holder is not as stable during use as one might expect, so you still have to stabilize everything well by hand. Given the not-so-low price for an extra accessory, I expected something a bit different...
