The leather seems solid and so far shows no signs of quick wear. I have used them both for outdoor work and for everyday tasks, and in both cases they performed very well. I'm adding another opinion after a month of use. The gloves are not dyed yellow but PAINTED with paint. I wore them about 5 times, didn't use them for any physical work and already the paint is coming off.

The leather is painted (not dyed), so it doesn't absorb any leather grease or anything. They smell strongly of chemicals but they're ok. Nice classic yellow color, but because the leather is painted and not dyed, when working outdoors they will quickly lose their nice appearance. :)
