Phenomenal tool. At first, I wasn't convinced about this model out of fear that it wouldn't meet my expectations. I was afraid that it wouldn't match my first Leatherman, which is the Super Tool 300M. However, the Sidekick quickly became my favorite model. It is very handy and useful, and the spring-loaded pliers make working with this tool a real pleasure.

The famous brand once again proves its high quality with the Sidekick model. This tool is compact, lightweight, well-made, and all its parts fit perfectly and work flawlessly. The basic version is ideal for workshop work, camping, or traveling. You can find cheaper alternatives, but usually a low price does not go hand in hand with durability. From my experience, cheap rarely means good – but the Sidekick is really solid.

A very efficient multitool, comes with a carabiner and a basic fabric holster, but it also has a clip, so the case is optional. Everything is made of good quality stainless steel, solid enough for light and medium-duty tasks. The pliers are spring-loaded, and both the saw and knife are liner lock. The whole thing has some weight to it, but it won’t pull your pants down. I recommend it.

I've been using the Sidekick for a long time—good multitool for reasonable money. Everything works solidly, pliers and blade do the job, the saw is a bit weak but enough for camping. For EDC and field repairs.

I bought it as a gift, it's ok, but in my opinion, there's an excessive extra charge for the brand. Badger Outdoor or even some Chinese equivalents are of comparable quality at 30-40% cheaper. The set of small tools is inconvenient to open; the serrated knife, file, and bottle opener all come out together.

My first multitool, sometimes I missed some things like a wire cutter or a Phillips head, which are present on a traditional Swiss Army knife. As you can see in the preview photos, for example, removing a mug from a stove with pliers instead of looking for gloves. It's a pity that the included case has a permanently sewn-in strap for attaching, not, for example, a button. However, there is a clip on the tool itself, so you can carry it in an inner pocket of an organizer.

I bought it during a visit to a physical store as my next tool (I had some budget left so why not :)). It's perfect for me. Has just the right number of tools, fits my hand just right :) Solidly built and assembled, zero play (it's a Leatherman after all), and I even got it on sale. For me, it's awesome :)
