Exceptionally lightweight and compact filter featuring a membrane microfilter capable of purifying up to 2000 liters of water. Compliant with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) standards for safe drinking water and effective bacteria removal, as well as NSF International/ANSI regulations.

Enables users to safely drink directly from rivers or lakes. Effectively guards against all types of bacteria (including E.coli and Salmonella) , parasites (such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium) , microplastics, silt, sand, and particulates larger than 0.2 microns. The improved membrane microfilter design minimizes clogging risk, enhancing both performance and flow rate to an efficient 3 l per minute.

Features a universal 28 mm bottle thread, with inlet and outlet caps for secure storage, plus a backwash syringe for maintenance.

Constructed from robust BPA-free plastic containing 50% recycled material. Thanks to its compact design, the filter conveniently stows in a backpack, bag, or trouser pocket. As for effectiveness, it's hard for me to comment because I haven't used it yet. I bought it for an upcoming trip, but first impressions are positive. It has low weight and small dimensions. I treat this filter as something I hope I won't have to use, but I'd rather have this kind of protection in my backpack.

Product tested in the field. A big plus is that it can be screwed onto most PET bottles and you can drink directly from the bottle. If you have a spare, you can filter water in advance. It worked perfectly when drinking water from a stream. Remember to maintain it properly and pre-filter cloudy water to extend its lifespan. I recommend it.

I had the opportunity to test this filter several times and it works flawlessly. Of course, I take care of its maintenance so it runs smoothly and lasts as long as possible.

Perfect for the backpack when going out. You don’t have to worry about running out of water. I also recommend getting a carbon filter and you have a great set that doesn’t take up much space, and can turn out to be very useful.

I used the filter on a trial basis during a camping trip and it worked flawlessly. The low weight of the product is a huge advantage for me. It's worth reading the instructions on how to maintain the filter because if you use it occasionally or in emergency situations, you need to take special care of it.

LifeStraw Peak Solo water filter – small, lightweight, and gets the job done. You don’t need more, and with the LifeStraw Add-On carbon water filter (must be bought separately) to further clean the water from chemical contaminants, it’s an awesome solution for both trips and emergencies at home. I recommend it.

The LifeStraw Peak Solo water filter is really good because it’s truly tiny. Now apparently it will also have an attachment with a carbon filter, which will allow it to remove chemical contaminants as well. Extra!

I always wanted to have a water filter for trips outside the city but somehow never had the time or determination to make it happen. Finally, I made the decision and chose the LifeStraw Solo. For me it’s the perfect choice. Super light filter (48 g!), only 13 cm high and a bit over 3 cm in diameter. It will fit everywhere and is essential if you run out of water during a trip. The case of Polish tourists getting poisoned in the mountains by stream water (below the shelter) gives you something to think about :)

A very good and effective piece of equipment from a reputable (probably the best) manufacturer of this type of product. Small size and weight, the possibility to screw on a bottle or use directly like a straw. Worth having in your backpack.

I wanted to buy the personal version, but the small size convinced me to go for this filter. Although it filters half the amount of water compared to its bigger sibling for the same price, 2000 liters is still enough for a lot of time and many trips. I recommend taking this smaller and more handy one.

Good price, I haven't used the product yet. A minus for the fact that you can screw a bottle onto the inlet, but there’s no thin end that would allow you to plug the filter into a hydration bladder. On the plus side, LifeStraw has started including a syringe for flushing.

Small and convenient filter, combined with hydration packs it creates a very nice compact set. It works, the flow rate is nothing to complain about, and a big plus for the convenient caps on both ends and well-fitting syringe—recommend it.

Peak Solo is a smaller version of the Peak Personal, which in turn is an improved version of the first LifeStraw straws. I have been using these filters for eight years. First four without threads, last year one Personal for everyone in the family, and as soon as Solo appeared I got this little one for myself as well. I recommend the product and the Militaria store.

Tested in the Amazon with tablets. No diarrhea, so it works. I considered the Personal version, but I chose the Solo because of its size. It was a good choice because the filter fits in your pocket or a small backpack pocket, and when you put it on a bottle, it's convenient to use. With a longer one, it would be a bit worse. It's less efficient, true, but let's be honest—being able to filter 2000 liters of water is enough for quite a few trips for me.

It works well when screwed onto a PET bottle, tested in practice it really cleans the water from mechanical impurities such as soil and ash. Hard to say anything about microbiology.
