MultiCam is an advanced camouflage pattern introduced in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision, developed in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as a component of the Objective Force Warrior project. The primary objective was to engineer a highly adaptable camouflage pattern that would perform effectively across diverse terrains and fluctuating environmental conditions. Comprising seven distinct colors, the MultiCam design incorporates smooth gradient transitions between greens, browns, and beige tones. Such a configuration enables the pattern to seamlessly blend with its surroundings, shifting to display greener hues in forested zones and adopting brown and beige tones in arid landscapes. In the context of Central and Eastern Europe, MultiCam excels during the autumn season and amidst dried vegetation. Renowned on a global scale, MultiCam has been deployed by various military forces and elite units worldwide. In 2010, the United States Army officially adopted this camouflage for personnel in Afghanistan, supplanting the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP).
