Lindnerhof Plate Carrier LT042/2 Tactical Vest - MultiCam

Tactical plate carrier vest featuring a MultiCam camouflage pattern, crafted from robust Cordura and MX laminate. Designed with front and rear compartments for ballistic inserts, the carrier is compatible with the SAPI L standard. Additional retention straps allow accommodation of plates in the SAPI M size as well as other NATO standard plates. Constructed from a blend of MX laminate and Cordura fabric, the vest’s shell offers robust resistance to abrasions and mechanical wear. Load-bearing components have been engineered for minimal weight, bringing the total weight of the vest to approximately 750 g, which provides enhanced comfort for extended use. The Plate Carrier is composed of a front panel, a rear panel, and a hip belt equipped with three rows of MOLLE webbing.

Both the front and back panels of the vest feature straps and slots designed for compatibility with the MOLLE/PALS mounting system, allowing for secure attachment of pouches, load-bearing equipment, and other accessories. Integrated cable loops and opened bartack seams offer convenient routing and management of radio cables or hydration tube systems. An admin pocket is located at the top of the front panel for storing small essentials.

Featuring adjustable shoulder straps with slim 25 mm buckles, the vest can be customized for an optimal fit to the wearer’s body. Back zippers enable rapid attachment of additional panels or modules. The entire system maintains compatibility with Lindnerhof tactical backpacks and accessories, offering versatile configuration options tailored to individual requirements or specific mission profiles.

Equipped with robust quick-release buckles, the hip belt enables rapid donning and removal of the vest. Thanks to its skeletal construction, the belt dramatically decreases overall weight while providing mounting points for additional load-bearing equipment. A rear flexible cord with a drawstring ensures an optimal fit.

Generous Velcro panels are located on both the front and rear of the vest, providing space for attaching additional tactical and admin pouches, as well as unit identifiers.

Positioned at the upper back, the evacuation handle also functions as a convenient carry handle.

MultiCam represents a cutting-edge camouflage pattern designed in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs), within the Objective Force Warrior initiative. The objective behind its development was to produce a highly adaptable camo pattern delivering optimal concealment across a variety of terrains and changing environments. Featuring seven distinct colors, the MultiCam design incorporates gradient transitions that blend shades of green, brown, and beige. Thanks to this, the pattern subtly shifts to harmonize with its environment, showing more green hues in wooded landscapes and shifting towards browns and beiges in arid areas—performing exceptionally well in Central and Eastern Europe during autumn or within dry foliage. MultiCam has earned international acclaim and sees extensive use among military forces and elite tactical units around the globe. In 2010, the US Army officially selected the pattern for troops deployed in Afghanistan, replacing the previously used Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Civilian enthusiasts can also access MultiCam, making it a favored option among military, outdoor, and airsoft communities.
