LKW Dromader by Radosław Łęgowik Fixed Blade Knife - Black G10

Featuring a total length of 198 mm, this knife incorporates a Full Tang design, ensuring the blade’s tang runs the entire length of the handle for maximum strength. The 81 mm Drop-Point blade is crafted from Bohler K720 O2 tool steel, a material well-suited for diverse bushcraft applications. A Hollow grind enhances cutting performance, while the stonewashed finish provides a rugged, matte look. Handle scales are fashioned from black G10 laminate. The knife is the work of renowned Polish maker Radosław Łęgowik, who both designed and produced this model.

Polish design

Radosław Łęgowik, renowned Polish bladesmith and creator of the LKW - Libra Knife Works brand, has been crafting knives by hand since 2007, utilizing his original designs. Each knife is meticulously produced in his workshop, where he supervises every stage, including hardening and heat treatment. The range features both tactically styled modern knives and highly functional survival blades.

O2 Bohler K720 tool steel

Crafted from high-carbon O2 Bohler K720 tool steel and hardened to 59 HRC, the knife boasts exceptional toughness, crack resistance, and excellent edge retention thanks to the carefully executed heat treatment and the selected steel. In addition, sharpening this steel is straightforward even in the field, a crucial advantage for outdoor and bushcraft knives.

Drop-Point profile, hollow grind

Featuring a 81 mm long and 4.4 mm thick blade crafted with a Drop-Point profile, this knife is engineered for superior tip durability. Such a profile excels in outdoor and EDC scenarios, delivering an optimal balance between strong piercing capability and precise blade control. The design incorporates a Full Tang construction, ensuring the tang extends throughout the entire handle for maximum strength.

The knife utilizes a Hollow grind, ensuring an impressively sharp edge while preserving robust blade integrity with a low grind height. A Stonewash finish minimizes visible scratches and imparts a matte aesthetic.

G10 laminate handle, lanyard hole

Constructed from robust G10 laminate, the handle offers exceptional water resistance and superior mechanical durability. Enhanced with an anti-slip texture and ergonomic finger grooves, the design ensures a secure and reliable hold under all circumstances. A lanyard hole is integrated into the rear portion of the handle for added functionality.

rigid Kydex sheath, belt loop

Included in the set is a rigid sheath crafted from lightweight and damage-resistant Kydex material. Strategically placed holes and slots on both sides of the sheath provide versatile mounting options for a variety of gear configurations. An integrated belt loop on the back ensures secure attachment to a belt.

O2 feature
O2
O2 is a medium carbon tool steel (approximately 0.9%) characterized by good hardness, abrasion resistance, and strength. Its carbon content ensures high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC after appropriate heat treatment, which allows for a durable cutting edge. This steel also contains small amounts of manganese (0.3%) and silicon (0.2%), which improves its hardenability and structural stability. O2 is relatively easy to machine, making it a popular choice for the manufacture of cutting tools, industrial knives, files, and cutting tools. It is susceptible to corrosion and therefore requires proper maintenance and protection against rust. Due to its abrasive properties and hardness, O2 steel is mainly used in work tools that require wear resistance.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Kydex feature
Kydex
Kydex is a thermoplastic, durable material commonly used in the production of knife sheaths. It is resistant to impact, scratches, and changing weather conditions, and has very low moisture absorption. The sheaths are molded directly onto the knife, which guarantees a perfect fit, high durability, and complete safety—the blade remains securely in place even during dynamic movements. Due to its durability and customization options, Kydex has gained popularity in the tactical and survival industries. Sheaths are often equipped with additional mounting holes with metal eyelets, which increase their durability and allow for easy attachment of buckles, clips, or loops to a belt or harness.
Stonewash feature
Stonewash
Stonewash is a blade finishing technique that involves treating steel in a drum filled with stones, ceramic abrasives, or beads. The impact of the material creates a characteristic, irregular pattern with micro-scratches, giving the effect of a matte, slightly “aged” surface with a raw, practical appearance. The finish gives the knife an aesthetic look and masks minor scratches and marks that occur during use, keeping the blade looking like new for longer. The matte texture reduces light reflections, which is valued in tactical and outdoor knives, and the micro-scratches can further reduce friction during cutting. Due to its durability, discreet appearance, and ease of maintenance, stonewash is popular in EDC, field, and tactical knives.
