Designed and handmade by Polish knifemaker Radosław Łęgowik.

Polish design

Radosław Łęgowik, a skilled Polish bladesmith, is the creator and originator of the LKW - Libra Knife Works brand. Since 2007, he has been meticulously designing and handcrafting knives in his workshop, overseeing every stage of production including hardening and heat treatment. His portfolio features both modern tactical knives and practical, fully functional survival blades.

O2 Bohler K720 tool steel

Forged from high-carbon O2 Bohler K720 tool steel and heat-treated to a 59 HRC hardness, the knife delivers exceptional durability, superior crack resistance, and reliable edge retention. Pairing top-tier material with meticulous heat processing, this blade excels in strength. Sharpening remains straightforward even in the field—an essential quality for outdoor and bushcraft applications.

Drop-Point profile, hollow grind

Featuring a 81 mm blade length and a thickness of 4.4 mm, the knife utilizes a Drop-Point profile that ensures exceptional tip durability. This design is highly advantageous for outdoor and EDC scenarios, delivering both superior piercing performance and precise blade control. A Full Tang construction runs the tang the entire length of the handle, enhancing strength and reliability.

Equipped with a hollow grind, the blade delivers an extremely sharp edge while preserving robust blade strength thanks to its low grind height. The Stonewash finish minimizes visible scratches and imparts a matte appearance.

Micarta handle, lanyard hole

An ergonomically contoured handle crafted from Micarta—a robust, water-resistant material derived from epoxy resin—delivers a reliable and stable hold in any environment. The non-slip texture along with the functional finger grooves guarantee a secure grip under all circumstances. A lanyard hole is located at the end of the handle, allowing attachment of a cord for added security.

rigid Kydex sheath, belt loop

The set features a robust sheath crafted from lightweight, damage-resistant Kydex material. Multiple holes and slots on either side of the sheath provide versatile options for attaching it to various gear. A rear loop enables convenient mounting on a belt.

O2 feature
O2
O2 is a medium carbon tool steel (approximately 0.9%) characterized by good hardness, abrasion resistance, and strength. Its carbon content ensures high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC after appropriate heat treatment, which allows for a durable cutting edge. This steel also contains small amounts of manganese (0.3%) and silicon (0.2%), which improves its hardenability and structural stability. O2 is relatively easy to machine, making it a popular choice for the manufacture of cutting tools, industrial knives, files, and cutting tools. It is susceptible to corrosion and therefore requires proper maintenance and protection against rust. Due to its abrasive properties and hardness, O2 steel is mainly used in work tools that require wear resistance.
Kydex feature
Kydex
Kydex is a thermoplastic, durable material commonly used in the production of knife sheaths. It is resistant to impact, scratches, and changing weather conditions, and has very low moisture absorption. The sheaths are molded directly onto the knife, which guarantees a perfect fit, high durability, and complete safety—the blade remains securely in place even during dynamic movements. Due to its durability and customization options, Kydex has gained popularity in the tactical and survival industries. Sheaths are often equipped with additional mounting holes with metal eyelets, which increase their durability and allow for easy attachment of buckles, clips, or loops to a belt or harness.
Stonewash feature
Stonewash
Stonewash is a blade finishing technique that involves treating steel in a drum filled with stones, ceramic abrasives, or beads. The impact of the material creates a characteristic, irregular pattern with micro-scratches, giving the effect of a matte, slightly “aged” surface with a raw, practical appearance. The finish gives the knife an aesthetic look and masks minor scratches and marks that occur during use, keeping the blade looking like new for longer. The matte texture reduces light reflections, which is valued in tactical and outdoor knives, and the micro-scratches can further reduce friction during cutting. Due to its durability, discreet appearance, and ease of maintenance, stonewash is popular in EDC, field, and tactical knives.
Micarta feature
Micarta
Micarta is a composite material made of layers of fabric (including canvas, linen, and paper) soaked in resin and pressed under high pressure and temperature. It is characterized by high mechanical strength, resistance to impact, abrasion, and changing weather conditions, as well as dimensional stability, which makes it ideal for knife handles. The surface of Micarta provides a secure grip and can be finished smooth or left with a slight texture to improve control over the tool. The material does not conduct heat or electricity, tolerates contact with moisture well, and acquires a characteristic patina over time, emphasizing the individual style of the knife. Thanks to its combination of durability, environmental resistance, and unique appearance, Micarta is widely used in EDC, outdoor, and collector's knives.
