LKW Dromader Medium by Radosław Łęgowik Fixed Blade Knife - Black G10

Knife featuring an overall length of 224 mm and a Full Tang build, in which the tang of the blade runs the entire length of the handle. The blade measures 110 mm and sports a Drop-Point shape, crafted from O2 Bohler K720 tool steel, providing superior performance for diverse bushcraft operations. A Hollow (concave) grind is applied to the blade. Finished with a stonewashed technique, the blade gains a matte appearance. The handle scales are constructed from black G10 laminate. Designed and meticulously handmade by Polish knifemaker Radosław Łęgowik.

Polish design

Radosław Łęgowik, a renowned Polish bladesmith, is the creator of the LKW - Libra Knife Works brand. Since 2007, he has been meticulously crafting knives by hand, guided by his own original designs. Each knife is produced in his workshop, where he personally oversees every stage of production, including hardening and heat treating. The collection features both modern tactical knives and highly functional survival knives, built for demanding users.

O2 Bohler K720 tool steel

Forged from high-carbon O2 Bohler K720 tool steel and heat treated to a hardness of 59 HRC, the knife excels in demanding environments. The selected steel, combined with precise hardening, offers exceptional toughness, strong resistance to breakage, and reliable edge retention. Sharpening is straightforward even in the field, making this knife especially suited for outdoor and bushcraft applications.

Drop-Point profile, hollow grind

Featuring a blade that measures 110 mm in length and 4.4 mm in thickness, this knife boasts a Drop-Point blade shape engineered for superior tip durability. The drop-point design excels in outdoor and EDC scenarios, offering an ideal balance between strong penetration and precise blade control. With a Full Tang build, the tang extends through the entire handle, ensuring durability and reliability.

A Hollow grind is used in this model, delivering an exceptionally sharp cutting edge while preserving considerable blade strength thanks to its shallow grind height. The blade's Stonewash finish helps to minimize visible scratches and imparts a matte appearance.

G10 laminate handle, lanyard hole

Constructed from robust G10 laminate, the handle offers exceptional water resistance and superior mechanical strength. Enhanced with an anti-slip texture and ergonomic finger grooves, the grip remains secure and reliable under all conditions. A lanyard hole is integrated into the rear section of the handle.

rigid Kydex sheath, belt loop

Included in the kit is a durable sheath crafted from damage-resistant and lightweight Kydex material. Multiple openings and slots are positioned on each side of the sheath, providing versatile attachment options for various gear setups. A belt loop situated on the rear of the sheath allows for secure belt carry.

O2 feature
O2
O2 is a medium carbon tool steel (approximately 0.9%) characterized by good hardness, abrasion resistance, and strength. Its carbon content ensures high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC after appropriate heat treatment, which allows for a durable cutting edge. This steel also contains small amounts of manganese (0.3%) and silicon (0.2%), which improves its hardenability and structural stability. O2 is relatively easy to machine, making it a popular choice for the manufacture of cutting tools, industrial knives, files, and cutting tools. It is susceptible to corrosion and therefore requires proper maintenance and protection against rust. Due to its abrasive properties and hardness, O2 steel is mainly used in work tools that require wear resistance.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Kydex feature
Kydex
Kydex is a thermoplastic, durable material commonly used in the production of knife sheaths. It is resistant to impact, scratches, and changing weather conditions, and has very low moisture absorption. The sheaths are molded directly onto the knife, which guarantees a perfect fit, high durability, and complete safety—the blade remains securely in place even during dynamic movements. Due to its durability and customization options, Kydex has gained popularity in the tactical and survival industries. Sheaths are often equipped with additional mounting holes with metal eyelets, which increase their durability and allow for easy attachment of buckles, clips, or loops to a belt or harness.
Stonewash feature
Stonewash
Stonewash is a blade finishing technique that involves treating steel in a drum filled with stones, ceramic abrasives, or beads. The impact of the material creates a characteristic, irregular pattern with micro-scratches, giving the effect of a matte, slightly “aged” surface with a raw, practical appearance. The finish gives the knife an aesthetic look and masks minor scratches and marks that occur during use, keeping the blade looking like new for longer. The matte texture reduces light reflections, which is valued in tactical and outdoor knives, and the micro-scratches can further reduce friction during cutting. Due to its durability, discreet appearance, and ease of maintenance, stonewash is popular in EDC, field, and tactical knives.
