Polish design

Radosław Łęgowik stands out as a Polish bladesmith and the creator behind LKW - Libra Knife Works. Since 2007, he has been meticulously designing and handcrafting knives in his own workshop, overseeing each stage of production personally, from concept to hardening and heat treatment. The collection features a range of tactical blades with a contemporary edge, as well as highly functional survival knives ready for demanding outdoor use.

O2 Bohler K720 tool steel

Crafted from high-carbon O2 Bohler K720 tool steel and hardened to a robust 59 HRC, the knife benefits from top-tier material and expert heat treatment. This results in superior strength, excellent crack resistance, and reliable edge retention. In addition, sharpening this steel is straightforward, even outdoors, making it exceptionally well-suited for bushcraft and field activities.

Drop-Point profile, hollow grind

Equipped with a 110 mm blade length and a thickness of 4.4 mm, the knife features a Drop-Point blade silhouette engineered for exceptional tip durability. Ideal for outdoor and EDC scenarios, the shape supports both superior piercing capability and precise blade manipulation. Boasting a Full Tang build, the knife integrates the tang seamlessly through the entire handle for maximum structural integrity.

Outfitted with a hollow grind (Hollow), the model delivers an extremely sharp edge while preserving impressive blade strength thanks to its shallow grind height. The blade receives a Stonewash finish, effectively minimizing visible scratches and lending a non-reflective, matte appearance.

Micarta handle, lanyard hole

The ergonomically contoured handle is crafted from Micarta, a highly durable and water-resistant material derived from epoxy resin, ensuring a reliable and secure grip in any environment. With its non-slip texture and thoughtfully designed finger grooves, a steady and safe hold is guaranteed under all circumstances. A lanyard hole is integrated at the end of the handle for attachment of a cord.

rigid Kydex sheath, belt loop

A robust sheath crafted from lightweight, damage-resistant Kydex is included in the set. Multiple holes and slots along each side offer various attachment options to gear. A rear loop enables mounting directly onto a belt.

O2 feature
O2
O2 is a medium carbon tool steel (approximately 0.9%) characterized by good hardness, abrasion resistance, and strength. Its carbon content ensures high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC after appropriate heat treatment, which allows for a durable cutting edge. This steel also contains small amounts of manganese (0.3%) and silicon (0.2%), which improves its hardenability and structural stability. O2 is relatively easy to machine, making it a popular choice for the manufacture of cutting tools, industrial knives, files, and cutting tools. It is susceptible to corrosion and therefore requires proper maintenance and protection against rust. Due to its abrasive properties and hardness, O2 steel is mainly used in work tools that require wear resistance.
Kydex feature
Kydex
Kydex is a thermoplastic, durable material commonly used in the production of knife sheaths. It is resistant to impact, scratches, and changing weather conditions, and has very low moisture absorption. The sheaths are molded directly onto the knife, which guarantees a perfect fit, high durability, and complete safety—the blade remains securely in place even during dynamic movements. Due to its durability and customization options, Kydex has gained popularity in the tactical and survival industries. Sheaths are often equipped with additional mounting holes with metal eyelets, which increase their durability and allow for easy attachment of buckles, clips, or loops to a belt or harness.
Stonewash feature
Stonewash
Stonewash is a blade finishing technique that involves treating steel in a drum filled with stones, ceramic abrasives, or beads. The impact of the material creates a characteristic, irregular pattern with micro-scratches, giving the effect of a matte, slightly “aged” surface with a raw, practical appearance. The finish gives the knife an aesthetic look and masks minor scratches and marks that occur during use, keeping the blade looking like new for longer. The matte texture reduces light reflections, which is valued in tactical and outdoor knives, and the micro-scratches can further reduce friction during cutting. Due to its durability, discreet appearance, and ease of maintenance, stonewash is popular in EDC, field, and tactical knives.
Micarta feature
Micarta
Micarta is a composite material made of layers of fabric (including canvas, linen, and paper) soaked in resin and pressed under high pressure and temperature. It is characterized by high mechanical strength, resistance to impact, abrasion, and changing weather conditions, as well as dimensional stability, which makes it ideal for knife handles. The surface of Micarta provides a secure grip and can be finished smooth or left with a slight texture to improve control over the tool. The material does not conduct heat or electricity, tolerates contact with moisture well, and acquires a characteristic patina over time, emphasizing the individual style of the knife. Thanks to its combination of durability, environmental resistance, and unique appearance, Micarta is widely used in EDC, outdoor, and collector's knives.
