LKW Kwaiken by Radosław Łęgowik Fixed Blade Knife - Black G10

A robust knife measuring a total of 229 mm, constructed with a Full Tang design, ensuring the blade’s tang runs the entire length of the handle for superior strength. The blade, at 105 mm in length, comes with a Straight Back profile and is crafted from Bohler K720 O2 tool steel, an excellent choice for bushcraft and outdoor tasks. Featuring a precise hollow grind, the blade boasts a stonewashed finish that provides a non-reflective, matte look. Handle scales are fashioned from resilient black G10 laminate. Polish knifemaker Radosław Łęgowik designed and handmade this model.

Polish design

Radosław Łęgowik, renowned Polish knifemaker and founder of LKW - Libra Knife Works, has been designing and handcrafting knives from his own original concepts since 2007. Each knife is meticulously produced in his workshop, where he maintains complete oversight of every stage, including hardening and heat treatment. The collection features both tactical models with contemporary design as well as highly practical survival knives.

O2 Bohler K720 tool steel

The knife is crafted from high-carbon Bohler K720 O2 tool steel, tempered to a hardness of 59 HRC. Thanks to the choice of material and precise heat treatment, the blade offers exceptional strength, resistance to breakage, and excellent edge retention. Sharpening the blade remains simple and convenient, even in outdoor settings—an essential quality for knives designed for bushcraft and wilderness survival.

Straight Back profile, hollow grind

Featuring a blade length of 105 mm and a thickness of 4.4 mm, the design utilizes a Straight Back profile to deliver enhanced tip strength. Ideal for outdoor and EDC scenarios, this configuration offers superior piercing power coupled with precise blade control. Engineered with Full Tang construction, the blade's tang runs the full length of the handle for increased durability.

Incorporating a hollow grind (Hollow), the knife achieves a razor-sharp edge while preserving robust blade strength with a shallow grind height. The blade receives a Stonewash finish, reducing visible scratches and providing a non-reflective, matte appearance.

Handle made of G10 laminate, lanyard hole

Constructed from robust G10 laminate, the handle stands out for exceptional water resistance and superior mechanical strength. A non-slip texture ensures a secure, dependable grip in any situation. The end of the handle is equipped with a lanyard hole for attaching a securing cord.

rigid Kydex sheath, belt loop

Supplied with a sturdy sheath crafted from lightweight, damage-resistant Kydex material. Side-mounted holes and grommets enable versatile attachment options to gear in multiple positions. At the rear, a belt loop allows secure placement on your belt.

O2 feature
O2
O2 is a medium carbon tool steel (approximately 0.9%) characterized by good hardness, abrasion resistance, and strength. Its carbon content ensures high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC after appropriate heat treatment, which allows for a durable cutting edge. This steel also contains small amounts of manganese (0.3%) and silicon (0.2%), which improves its hardenability and structural stability. O2 is relatively easy to machine, making it a popular choice for the manufacture of cutting tools, industrial knives, files, and cutting tools. It is susceptible to corrosion and therefore requires proper maintenance and protection against rust. Due to its abrasive properties and hardness, O2 steel is mainly used in work tools that require wear resistance.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Kydex feature
Kydex
Kydex is a thermoplastic, durable material commonly used in the production of knife sheaths. It is resistant to impact, scratches, and changing weather conditions, and has very low moisture absorption. The sheaths are molded directly onto the knife, which guarantees a perfect fit, high durability, and complete safety—the blade remains securely in place even during dynamic movements. Due to its durability and customization options, Kydex has gained popularity in the tactical and survival industries. Sheaths are often equipped with additional mounting holes with metal eyelets, which increase their durability and allow for easy attachment of buckles, clips, or loops to a belt or harness.
Stonewash feature
Stonewash
Stonewash is a blade finishing technique that involves treating steel in a drum filled with stones, ceramic abrasives, or beads. The impact of the material creates a characteristic, irregular pattern with micro-scratches, giving the effect of a matte, slightly “aged” surface with a raw, practical appearance. The finish gives the knife an aesthetic look and masks minor scratches and marks that occur during use, keeping the blade looking like new for longer. The matte texture reduces light reflections, which is valued in tactical and outdoor knives, and the micro-scratches can further reduce friction during cutting. Due to its durability, discreet appearance, and ease of maintenance, stonewash is popular in EDC, field, and tactical knives.
