LKW Superfighter by Radosław Łęgowik Fixed Blade Knife - Brown Micarta

An exceptionally robust knife with a Full Tang design, fitted with brown Micarta handle scales. Outfitted with a broad blade crafted from Bohler K720 O2 tool steel, perfectly suited for a wide range of bushcraft applications. The knife is the creation of the Polish knifemaker Radosław Łęgowik, who personally designed and handcrafted the model.

Polish design

Radosław Łęgowik stands out as a Polish bladesmith and the creator of the LKW - Libra Knife Works brand. Since 2007, he has specialized in designing and crafting knives by hand, following his original patterns. Every knife is meticulously produced in his own workshop, where he oversees every stage of production, including hardening and heat treatment. His lineup encompasses modern tactical knives as well as highly practical survival knives, all built for reliable performance.

O2 Bohler K720 tool steel

Crafted from high-carbon O2 Bohler K720 tool steel and hardened to a precise 59 HRC, the knife offers exceptional durability, crack resistance, and reliable edge retention thanks to specialized heat treatment. The composition of this steel ensures that sharpening remains straightforward even in demanding field situations, making it an ideal choice for outdoor and bushcraft applications.

Recurve Clip-Point profile, semi-flat ground

Equipped with a Recurved Clip-Point blade, the knife features a length of 160 mm and a thickness of 4.4 mm. The ergonomically contoured lower handle, complete with a pronounced finger notch and a grooved thumb rest along the spine, safeguards the hand from accidental contact with the blade. A semi-flat grind finish delivers reliable cutting performance.

Micarta scales

Rugged Micarta handle scales, crafted from an epoxy resin-based material, offer exceptional strength and water resistance. Enhanced with an anti-slip texture and ergonomically designed finger grooves, they ensure a secure and reliable grip in any environment.

stiff Kydex sheath, belt loop

The set comes with a rigid sheath crafted from lightweight and highly durable Kydex material. Multiple holes and lanyard slots on each side of the sheath enable versatile mounting options on various gear. A rear-mounted loop provides compatibility for secure belt attachment.

O2 feature
O2
O2 is a medium carbon tool steel (approximately 0.9%) characterized by good hardness, abrasion resistance, and strength. Its carbon content ensures high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC after appropriate heat treatment, which allows for a durable cutting edge. This steel also contains small amounts of manganese (0.3%) and silicon (0.2%), which improves its hardenability and structural stability. O2 is relatively easy to machine, making it a popular choice for the manufacture of cutting tools, industrial knives, files, and cutting tools. It is susceptible to corrosion and therefore requires proper maintenance and protection against rust. Due to its abrasive properties and hardness, O2 steel is mainly used in work tools that require wear resistance.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Kydex feature
Kydex
Kydex is a thermoplastic, durable material commonly used in the production of knife sheaths. It is resistant to impact, scratches, and changing weather conditions, and has very low moisture absorption. The sheaths are molded directly onto the knife, which guarantees a perfect fit, high durability, and complete safety—the blade remains securely in place even during dynamic movements. Due to its durability and customization options, Kydex has gained popularity in the tactical and survival industries. Sheaths are often equipped with additional mounting holes with metal eyelets, which increase their durability and allow for easy attachment of buckles, clips, or loops to a belt or harness.
Stonewash feature
Stonewash
Stonewash is a blade finishing technique that involves treating steel in a drum filled with stones, ceramic abrasives, or beads. The impact of the material creates a characteristic, irregular pattern with micro-scratches, giving the effect of a matte, slightly “aged” surface with a raw, practical appearance. The finish gives the knife an aesthetic look and masks minor scratches and marks that occur during use, keeping the blade looking like new for longer. The matte texture reduces light reflections, which is valued in tactical and outdoor knives, and the micro-scratches can further reduce friction during cutting. Due to its durability, discreet appearance, and ease of maintenance, stonewash is popular in EDC, field, and tactical knives.
