Radosław Łęgowik, a Polish bladesmith and the founder of LKW - Libra Knife Works, has been meticulously crafting knives by hand since 2007, all based on his own designs. Every piece is produced in his personal workshop, where he maintains complete oversight of each stage, including hardening and heat treatment. His lineup features both modern tactical blades and highly functional survival knives.

O2 Bohler K720 tool steel

Crafted from high-carbon O2 Bohler K720 tool steel and heat-treated to reach a hardness of 59 HRC, the knife delivers exceptional durability, crack resistance, and reliable edge retention. Thanks to its specific steel composition and precise hardening process, the blade remains simple to sharpen even in rugged outdoor conditions—an essential quality for bushcraft and survival scenarios.

Recurve Clip-Point Profile, semi-flat grind

Equipped with a Recurved Clip-Point blade profile, the knife features a blade measuring 160 mm in length and 4.4 mm in thickness. The ergonomically contoured lower section of the handle, featuring a prominent index finger groove and a textured thumb rest on the spine, effectively prevents accidental hand slippage onto the cutting edge. Completed with a semi-flat grind, the blade offers excellent slicing performance.

G10 laminate scales

Handle scales crafted from robust G10 laminate deliver exceptional water resistance and superior mechanical strength. A non-slip texture combined with ergonomic finger grooves provides a secure and reliable grip under any conditions.

stiff Kydex sheath, belt loop

Included in the set is a rigid sheath crafted from lightweight and damage-resistant Kydex material. Strategically placed holes and loops on either side of the sheath facilitate versatile attachment to various gear configurations. A belt loop can be found on the sheath’s reverse side.

O2 is a medium carbon tool steel (approximately 0.9%) characterized by good hardness, abrasion resistance, and strength. Its carbon content ensures high hardness in the range of 58-60 HRC after appropriate heat treatment, which allows for a durable cutting edge. This steel also contains small amounts of manganese (0.3%) and silicon (0.2%), which improves its hardenability and structural stability. O2 is relatively easy to machine, making it a popular choice for the manufacture of cutting tools, industrial knives, files, and cutting tools. It is susceptible to corrosion and therefore requires proper maintenance and protection against rust. Due to its abrasive properties and hardness, O2 steel is mainly used in work tools that require wear resistance.

It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
