Hello. The lock cover is over 1mm too short. Once properly screwed, it will move back and forth. The notch above the rivet is not in the right place. I think it can be modified, but the warranty will be void... And what's there to admire for over 1150 PLN, a poorly cut piece of sheet metal.

Very good quality of workmanship and materials, fits perfectly on the 7.62x39 AKM carbine, sits tightly and securely. And most importantly, it holds zero, so I can recommend it with a clear conscience!!

I bought this cover a few months ago. Previously, I tried different solutions to mount a red dot sight on an AKM. Nothing worked. I almost decided on a side mount but couldn't find a gunsmith to do it. When I added up the cost of parts and the service, it wasn't much more than the price of this cover. After installation and testing, it turned out that it holds zero even after several removals, is easy to use, and is solidly built. I'm surprised our domestic companies haven't adopted a similar solution, e.g., for the Beryl.

One of the most popular modifications for the AK-74. The sights sit firmly on the rail, the cover is stable, there's no need to adjust anything when you open and close it after cleaning.

The product works correctly and, most importantly, holds "zero" even after cleaning. Unlike competing products, you don't need to remove the rear sight, so 10/10.
