First of all, I was surprised by how breathable these shoes are, and that was my biggest concern. With proper maintenance, they are more "airy" than most shoes without a membrane. As for the size, I went by the centimeters and the size chart, and I recommend taking exactly the size that comes out. I was hesitating between 42.5 and 43, I chose the smaller one because that's what was indicated, and there is still enough room for a thick sock in the shoes. At first, they're a bit stiff, but after two weeks they become one with your foot. Every material used feels of the highest quality, they give the impression of being very sturdy. They're slim and look very nice on the feet. Compared to military surplus, it's night and day. Definitely worth it.

Gore-Tex is a thin membrane made of polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), which features a microporous structure. Its structure makes it highly water- and wind-resistant, as well as breathable. The membrane's pores are 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor, which allows it to efficiently wick moisture to the outside. Monowrap is a three-dimensional shoe sole construction technology developed by Lowa. The price is a bit high; I recommend waiting for discounts, which do happen. The shoes are durable—my previous Lowa shoes lasted 4 years until the leather cracked at the bend of the toes, which is why I finally decided to replace them. The shoes are comfortable up to a maximum of +15 degrees Celsius; after that, they start to get very hot. As for subzero temperatures, a lot also depends on the socks; down to -15 there were no problems. When laced tightly, the shoes stabilize the ankle very well and you feel secure in them. The shoes are quite heavy, but if you're used to heavier footwear, you can still wear them comfortably for 12 hours. I recommend getting 0.5 to 1 size larger, as the shoes shouldn't pinch anywhere.

Comfortable but they came apart after 3 months, and the complaint was useless—they said I chose the wrong size. The quality has really dropped, my friends say the same. I do not recommend.

Comfortable shoes, they endured a lot and still look great. Thanks to the membrane, your foot breathes, which is very important. They can be an alternative to shoes used in the army. For the price, definitely worth recommending.
