MultiCam is an advanced camouflage pattern, created in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision, in partnership with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs), as a component of the Objective Force Warrior initiative. The pattern was engineered to deliver versatile concealment across diverse terrains and fluctuating environmental conditions. Featuring a palette of seven colors, MultiCam incorporates gradient blends between greens, browns, and beiges. This design allows seamless adaptation to the surrounding environment, whether adopting green hues in wooded landscapes or shifting to browns and beiges in arid, desert areas. Particularly effective in Central and Eastern European regions during autumn and within dry vegetation, MultiCam stands out as a high-performing solution. The pattern has achieved global acclaim and enjoys widespread use among military forces and special operations units. In 2010, the US Army officially selected MultiCam as the standard camouflage for troops stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The design is also accessible to the civilian market, making it a favored option for military enthusiasts and airsoft players alike.
