I bought my copy in 2023. It is probably the cheapest jacket currently available on the market made entirely of nylon, thanks to which it is far more durable than polyester jackets, such as the Helikon Gunfighter that I used previously. The Flash jacket is a shell layer - which means that it only protects against wind and light rain - and unlike the aforementioned Gunfighter, it does not have any form of internal insulation, which makes it somewhat colder and less stiff. I do not consider this a disadvantage, because it allows for better temperature regulation with inner layers, which can be selected depending on the temperature and the expected level of activity.
