Modeled after the entrenching tools issued to the US Army and NATO forces, this folding shovel features a blade crafted from 1050 carbon steel and coated with a durable black protective finish.

A lockable, half-open position for the blade allows conversion of the tool for use as a mattock or pickaxe.

Thanks to its design, the entrenching tool easily folds for transport, shortening its length from 59 cm to 24 cm. In the folded position, the tool fits securely in the included 600D polyester sheath, which facilitates safe, convenient carrying and offers the option to attach it to a belt.

    While using the entrenching tool, it cracked at the connection between the handle and the shaft, making it only fit for throwing away. It's worth adding that this happened during its first use. I'm not giving it 1 star only because the material quality, apart from the connections, is at a good level.

    It looked great, but appearance can't be used for work. I dug a few holes and on the first day of use, the handle connection broke. It's a pity, because the rest is made very well.

    Very nice, compact entrenching tool. Tested while digging out a car - works without any problem.

    Well made, strong plastic, there’s an aluminum profile inside, no looseness after unfolding, welds are fine. Very similar to the F1skars shovel. The only downside in my opinion is that it’s not sharpened. I recommend it.
