M-Tac Gen II Horizontal Pepper Spray Holster - Black

The product description says "it will fit perfectly a gas tank with a maximum diameter of 75 mm" – nonsense that nobody has verified. The diameter of the Sabre Frontiersman gas tank is 53 mm, and the rubber of this holster is already so tight that I would call it an absolute maximum, and even then only technically, not practically, because it's hard to even pull out such a tightly fitted canister, let alone insert it at all. I think I even know where that value came from. If you put your index fingers inside the rubber loop and stretch them apart, you can extend it to about 7.5 cm. But this does not translate to the diameter of the cylinder you can push in there, only to half its circumference, which matches the Sabre case.

Very nice solution – simple and reliable. The spray fits tightly and securely, but you don’t have to struggle to pull it out. Just remember which way the button is facing [if there is no protective flap] to avoid accidentally activating it when pushing it out of the holster with your thumb.

The horizontal pepper spray holster is a great solution – it doesn’t restrict movement at all. You can even easily fasten your seat belt in the car – the lap belt under the holster and the shoulder belt above. I wear it on the right side at the front of my belt, blocked by the first belt loop from the inside. The 63 ml spray is almost completely hidden; only the nozzle tip sticks out. My spray has a flat collar under the nozzle, usually for better grip and to protect your index finger when activating with your thumb. When the spray is in the holster, this also helps with pulling it out quickly toward your body with your right hand. You can draw the spray very quickly, and you can also position it in the holster so it won't rotate, so that when you grab it your thumb will be ready on the valve. I tried other sprays of various sizes – they all fit, but if they don't have a collar, you need to grip the nozzle tightly to pull it out as the holster tightly fits the spray, adapting to its shape so it won't fall out. As for the visibility of the spray under a sweatshirt – you can see the shape, but it doesn't stand out too much. Under a jacket, it's not visible at all. Of course, be careful when reaching high with your right hand – then your sweatshirt or even light jacket will rise and the holster with spray will be visible :)

Great solution: you can attach it to your belt and it doesn’t get in the way when sitting or bending, it’s also less visible, you can mount it on the backpack strap and have it in sight but within reach. You can even attach it to a bike frame or handlebars. Fits different sizes of sprays which have different heights but always the same diameter. You can get the canister out faster than from one with a Velcro flap. Very well made, low price, mounting Velcro is solid.

Great holster. In my gear it serves as a holster for a tactical tourniquet. The tourniquet stays in place perfectly, does not get in the way, holds tightly. The Velcro is strong. I totally recommend it.

The holster is well made, but for the 75ml Military gas it turned out to be a bit too big, and the rubber holds it a little too loosely, so it may slide out of the holster during use. The company allows returns and there was absolutely no problem with that.
