M-Tac Groin Protection Gen. II for ballistic inserts - MultiCam

A MultiCam camouflage ballistic groin protector, designed to increase the area of protection against shrapnel. The design consists of a central panel and two movable side panels, allowing for freedom of movement during activities such as running, marching, or squatting. The protector is made of 500D Cordura and Tegris, using Murdock Webbing straps. The one-size-fits-all design, adjustable with straps, allows for adaptation to various accouterment configurations. The Gen. II model features an improved fastening system that enhances the protector’s stability on a tactical belt and enables quicker removal of the module in emergency situations.

construction with 500D Cordura and Tegris composite

The protector is made using 500D Cordura fabric, which is highly resistant to abrasion, tearing, and intense use in challenging terrain conditions. The material retains its properties even during prolonged use. The construction is additionally reinforced with the thermoplastic composite Tegris, placed between the Cordura layers. This solution increases the rigidity of the mounting elements and improves the durability of the entire system without significantly increasing weight. The applied Murdock Webbing straps provide high resistance to mechanical loads and increase the stability of the construction.

MOLLE attachment system, Laser Cut technology

The side elements use the MOLLE attachment system with Laser Cut technology, enabling the attachment of additional equipment. The module is mounted to the tactical belt using a weaving method through the MOLLE system slots, ensuring stability and allowing for further integration of equipment with the belt.

Woojin Grip Toggle strap, fastex Due Emme 2M buckles

The lower part of the module utilizes a strap with a Woojin Grip Toggle handle, ensuring fast and secure attachment to the tactical belt. An additional advantage is the use of Italian fastex DUE EMME (2M) buckles, responsible for quick module release in situations requiring immediate equipment reconfiguration. The design is equipped with movable side panels that effectively reduce discomfort during dynamic movements.

MultiCam Camouflage

MultiCam is a state-of-the-art camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by US company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a versatile camouflage pattern that is effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown and beige. As a result, it dynamically adapts to the background, adopting shades of green in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in Central and Eastern European environments, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military or airsoft enthusiasts.

Cordura feature
Cordura

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.

System MOLLE feature
System MOLLE

MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.

Woojin buckles feature
Woojin buckles

Woojin buckles are a type of buckles and fasteners made of high-quality materials such as polyamide or polypropylene, which ensures durability and weather resistance. They are widely used in the manufacture of backpacks, bags, clothing and tactical gear, providing sturdy, reliable and easy-to-use fasteners.

Laser Cut System feature
Laser Cut System

LCS (Laser Cut System) is a new version of the assembly used in the MOLLE system, where instead of traditional tapes, laser-cut holes are used directly in the material. The system is much lighter than standard sewn-on PALS tapes and guarantees better camouflage. The holes are hemmed with thread to prevent fuzzing and ripping, or, as in the case of Cordura, the laser-cut edges are fused.

Tegris feature
Tegris
Tegris is a lightweight and durable thermoplastic composite developed by Milliken, made of 100% polypropylene. It provides high protection against impacts, punctures and debris while maintaining very low weight. The material is characterized by high rigidity and resistance to extreme temperatures, chemicals and weather conditions. It is used in tactical and military equipment, motorsports and premium luggage. The material is easy to mold and fully recyclable.
