Good plastic is not bad. For hiking, lightweight carabiners made of plastic materials are very useful. Another thing is that even when scratched, they retain their color and do not rust.

I have been using two of these carbines for some time and they work well. They are durable, the locking mechanism works smoothly, and they still look like new. They weigh next to nothing. I recommend them.

Lightweight, comfortable carabiner. Remember that it's plastic and you can't hang anything heavy on it – but attaching two pieces of gear, some gloves, or other small items is absolutely fine.

A lightweight carabiner with quality adequate for its price. I use it to hang gloves and sometimes a summer sleeping bag. I have several pieces, but more often they serve a decorative rather than a practical function.

The plastic carabiner is quite large, and it's perfect for attaching gloves, a flashlight, or keys. As for durability, I haven't tried using it for more demanding tasks. It's a nice-looking gadget for a backpack.

A lightweight and inexpensive carabiner that you can attach to your backpack and forget about until you need it. I use it as an emergency – just in case. It works great for hanging a jacket at a campsite. Sometimes I clip a mug to my backpack or to the ridgeline near my hammock – the plus is that it doesn’t scratch mugs like metal carabiners do.
