MM14 Camouflage
The designation MM-14 stands for маскувальний малюнок (maskuvalʹnyy malyunok, meaning camouflage pattern) and references the year 2014, which marks the official adoption of this camouflage. Inspired by the American UCP camouflage design, the pattern incorporates color tones that are naturally present within the Ukrainian landscape. Adoption of the MM-14 camouflage pattern played a key role in reforming the Ukrainian military, signifying a move away from post-Soviet visual identity. In informal contexts, MM14 camouflage is also referred to as Ukrainian Pixel Camo and Ukrainian Digital Camo.
