Fits well in the hand, sharp right out of the box, sharpens quickly and holds that edge well, with a sturdy sheath included. A good compromise between a knife and a hatchet. I recommend it.
Forged from chipping-resistant 65Mn carbon steel, the machete features a blade treated with a black, corrosion-resistant, non-reflective coating. A flat grind completes the blade's finish.
The handle, crafted from robust polypropylene, is injection-molded directly onto the tang for enhanced durability.
A Cor-Ex sheath comes included with the machete.
Edge sharpness may differ among available models. Self-sharpening of the cutting edge is required.

Nice equipment for the price, the machete comes fairly sharp and after more precise sharpening it's great for cutting grass and weeds. Because of the two straps with clips, it's a bit uncomfortable to put it back into the sheath.
-
A very useful tool for clearing all kinds of grass, reeds, raspberry bushes, or other soft plants in the garden or outdoors. One star less because the grip is too narrow and thus not comfortable to hold.

Great machete, made for Cold Steel in South Africa. It holds an edge remarkably and is indestructible. The balance of the machete and blade shape make it unlike any other for chopping and hacking.
-
Just sharpen it and it's great, and carbon steel is not hard to sharpen. At this price, there is probably nothing better. It meets all my requirements.
-
The machete is well balanced, has a secure grip, and is very convenient to use. A big downside is its susceptibility to corrosion and tendency to chip in some places.

Nice machete, handy, durable. The quality you expect from Cold Steel. I recommend it.

After resharpening, the machete fought blackberries and twigs. Bolo - 1, blackberry - 0. The machete needs maintenance, sharpening; the sheath is decent. A tool worth its price.

Great machete, perfect for a collection. The blade in mine is painted, which is probably good since it won't rust. Overall, I recommend it.

It needs sharpening, but it's nice to swing. The handle is okay, but it's worth getting some tactical gloves for a better grip. Cuts very well. Perfect for a zombie attack :)

Well preserved. Definitely a product worth recommending!

10/10! A product worth recommending.

Very nice machete, useful on the plot :) Mine required sharpening before use and doesn't have a sheath, but at this price, it's worth considering.

The advantages of this machete are its length, low weight (compared to Ontario 18' or CS Jungle machetes), and price. Suitable for chopping branches with diameters up to a few cm. I worked mostly on birches, occasionally pines and spruces. I noticed the cutting edge at the end of the blade is durable, but roughly in the middle it can bend/chip—surprisingly on thinner branches. Of course, it needed sharpening initially. In summary—a budget product, but it gets the job done.

Generally, I haven't tested it yet, but just after unboxing, the product appears to be very well made (top quality). After reading opinions, I think I'll be very satisfied. I highly recommend it!!!!
