I bought this barricade block for myself for tactical competitions, so I would know how much of my barrel sticks out past obstacles, and it worked great. Those spikes are really sharp and bite in well. Additionally, it's comfortable to rest your hand on it and avoid burning yourself on, for example, the suppressor ;)

The Hand Stop type front grip is designed for use with M-LOK handguards, crafted from durable, lightweight polymer and QPQ-hardened steel (nitrocarburized via salt bath) to deliver heightened abrasion and corrosion resistance.
The ergonomic construction enables resting the firearm on barriers and functions as a front grip. Steel, contoured teeth produce an aggressive texture, allowing the user to catch onto field surfaces. Enhanced stability ensures more accurate shooting and steadier carbine operation under all conditions. A subtly curved profile supports weapon rotation while maintaining total control.

Magpul Industries Corporation is an American company founded in 1999 by former USMC sergeant Richard Fitzpatrick. Its name comes from its first product - the MagPul loop, inspired by field solutions that made quick magazine removal easier. The brand gained a reputation thanks to PMAG polymer magazines for AR-15 platforms and STANAG-compatible platforms, known for exceptional durability and reliability even with M855A1 ammunition. Another breakthrough was the M-LOK mounting system, which allows quick accessory attachment and was adopted as a NATO standard. The company built its reputation by focusing on the real needs of shooters, and obtaining a NATO Stock Number for the EMAG opened the way to large-scale military orders.

A nice thing, just a bit heavy :) But apart from that, it has no drawbacks. Very solid, it grips barriers well, especially wooden ones. The spikes are very sharp, so you should be careful during more dynamic maneuvers. And if you’re not careful, one incident is enough to learn ;) I definitely recommend it.

It holds tightly to the front part of the stock. I bought it for tactical competitions and it performed well. When it grips onto an obstacle, the rifle stands like it's set in stone, and it also serves well as a hand stop.

I never take the black version off my rifle. You can comfortably brace your hand against it, and the front metal teeth bite into obstacles perfectly, giving excellent support for the weapon. The downside is the price, but the quality is outstanding.
