Certified professional helmet engineered for the civilian sector. The LHO-01 model is constructed from advanced ballistic materials and is designed to protect the head against direct impacts from 9x19 mm FMJ rounds and fragments traveling at velocities of 400 m/s < V50 < 500 m/s.
The High-Cut version of the helmet shell is crafted entirely from premium European aramids, high-strength fibers also utilized in bullet-resistant vests and other forms of personal body armor. Aramids offer a high level of penetration resistance while maintaining low dynamic deformation. Ballistic properties are preserved across temperatures from -40 deg. C to +50 deg. C and exposure to moisture, including seawater. The aramid fibers are flame-resistant, do not melt, and do not facilitate combustion. Manufacture employs a compression technique to shape the aramid fibers, with controlled temperature and pressure ensuring the final product meets necessary parameters.
Impact-absorbing inserts are integrated inside the helmet to dissipate kinetic energy from blows. A full set for secure positioning includes an occipital pad and shock-absorbing inserts. The BOA system incorporated into the occipital pad allows for easy and precise adjustment of the helmet’s fit, providing optimal comfort and safety.
A four-point retention system is formed by the nape harness and chin strap closure, offering comprehensive fit adjustments.
Ballistic resistance:
- Fragmentation protection: V50 value exceeding 400 m/s for 1.1 g FSP fragments,
- Bullet protection: withstands 9x19 mm FMJ 8.0 g projectiles.
A mounting interface is included for night vision optics such as goggles or monoculars. Side rails are compatible with additional accessories, including Weaver rail attachments, hearing protection, or tactical lighting systems. The high-cut shell ensures compatibility with a broad array of hearing protectors.

The ballistic helmet is made in a modern configuration. It allows the use of a night vision device, headphones, dedicated helmet-mounted flashlights, and other equipment elements. However, these features significantly reduce the shell on the sides and front of the head, making it more shrapnel-resistant than bulletproof. I recommend the product and the store Militaria.pl.

The helmet is solidly made with a well-chosen, adjustable liner. The pads are slightly different and more comfortable than in the MON HP05 counterpart, although after longer wear, especially with night vision, they cause a slight discomfort in the middle of the head. The only downside is the paint peeling off the rubber rim of the helmet.

A well-made, solid, and comfortable basic helmet, excellent during training sessions. Convenient adjustment and comfortable pads that work well with active headsets with a rigid headband (Impact Sport) as well as neckband ones (MSA Sordin). Once adjusted, the helmet fits well on the head.
