The gloves are very comfortable and provide excellent feel – for handling a weapon or precise tasks, they are brilliant. Unfortunately, they are completely unsuitable for camp work. The material is very delicate and during simple tasks like boiling water or adjusting wood in a campfire, they quickly got burned through. If you're looking for shooting gloves for cool days, they'll be great, but for bushcraft and field cooking I definitely do not recommend them – they are far too fragile for that.

Mechanix Wear ColdWork Base Layer tactical gloves - Covert are very good quality winter gloves, as long as you use them consciously. Temperatures of -10°C or getting them wet will rather defeat them, but if they stay dry, they do the job. Secure grip, I recommend them.

I bought them as an alternative to the previously purchased Helikon-Tex Tracker Outback. The main drawback of those from Helikon is that they slip on everything – which is especially annoying when driving a car. Here, with the Mechanix gloves, they've solved the problem completely. The gloves absolutely stick to everything. I’d even say they stick a bit too much—I’ve tested them in the car and while walking my dogs. They stick so much that you can’t slide your hand along the steering wheel or a nylon leash. You have to intentionally lift your hand to change its position. This could be a bit uncomfortable, but you can get used to it. However, it’s definitely a safer solution than the Helikon gloves. You can use a smartphone and touchscreens with them. They work great paired with another set of gloves for extreme cold. I’d recommend mixing up the sizing—so for example, I wear XL Mechanix underneath and put any other Mechanix cold work glove in XXL on top for a comfortable fit. The result—amazing—even in temps below -20°C, I felt no cold in my hands during an hour-long walk, and I still had good gripping ability and dexterity. So, overall—I highly recommend this model!

I use these gloves for wildlife photography. They are flexible and thin enough that the camera (even small buttons) is very easy to operate while wearing them. Similarly, the touchscreen works perfectly – everything functions as it should. The anti-slip inserts on the inside are definitely a plus as well. However, at lower temperatures they are quite cold, so I recommend either something thicker or additional hand warmers (I haven’t tried them myself). It’s a pity that the part covering the wrist isn’t a bit longer. I have really small hands, and yet the XS size was too tight for me – I exchanged them for size S and it’s perfect. It’s worth bearing this in mind when choosing the size.

The gloves are comfortable and provide warmth, performing their function excellently. They are thin enough not to restrict hand mobility, but the thumbs are a bit too wide, which can be problematic when using a phone. I have been using them almost every day for about a month and I am very satisfied. I can definitely recommend them.

These gloves are not suitable for work; they wore out very quickly and got holes during physical work. Their durability seems delicate, probably worse than fabric gloves for 5 PLN. They're okay for a while in low positive temperatures. I expected that for 80/130 PLN they would last a bit longer... After a week or two of use at work, they're only good for the trash. It's a shame. I'm looking for something more durable, or I'll have to keep buying goat leather ones for 10 PLN... Unfortunately, I can't recommend these at this price. For regular winter outings, there are cheaper options from other stores that fulfill their function. On the plus side, the size matches what was described...

Mechanix Wear ColdWork Base Layer tactical gloves - These are the gloves I was looking for. They are okay for temperatures around zero, or even a slight minus. But only for a while. They are unfortunately not suitable for outdoor work for several hours. But they are fine for clearing snow off the car or short walks. The inner layer really helps to hold various items. However, in my case, in one glove, it is coming off.

The gloves are made very precisely, comfortable, lightweight, but they are more suitable for autumn or maybe around 0°C, but not for winter like this year. Using them as a base layer—I suspect that putting a second pair over them could be difficult because of the rubberized areas on the hands, which definitely help with gripping objects, but can make it harder to slide one material over another when putting on a second pair.

Great gloves for the autumn period or early winter. Due to the type and thickness of the material, your hands stay warm and you don't lose the ability to perform precise tasks. The material itself is very durable—they proved themselves during several trips to the shooting range.

Comfortable and warm gloves, but the thumbs are too long for me. The other fingers reach the end well, but there's about 5mm of slack at the thumbs, which makes it inconvenient to use the phone.

Very nicely made fleece gloves. They are rather suitable for cool weather than for frost (unless, as the name suggests, they are actually intended as an additional inner layer). The nice grippy coating significantly improves functionality compared to ordinary fleece gloves. The size is well fitted.

The gloves are made of good quality materials, they feel pleasant to the touch and have an effective non-slip surface. However, they do not provide much warmth, but with intense movement and when performing precise tasks, they work well at temperatures around -2°C.

On the plus side, the material is pleasant to the touch and fits well (although the thumb could be shorter; pro tip - if you're unsure, it's better to take a smaller size, because according to the size chart I was between S and M, and S turned out to be perfect), and the hydrophobic properties are good. On the minus side, they are breathable, so already below 8°C you feel the cold while walking, and below 5°C your pinky finger feels cold. Below 0°C I don't wear them at all. I deduct a star for the absurd accumulation of logos. For me, it's in bad taste. It's a pity you can't have Mechanix gloves with just one discreet logo. I would pay more for that.

Very nice gloves. Pretty warm, although not for very cold temperatures. Comfortable. It's easy to work in them. They are not damaged by water.

Well made, comfortable, the grip sticks firmly and as with Mechanix gloves, everything is basically as expected. However, size L could have longer fingers and the cold from outside literally gets inside, so without an extra outer layer it can be tough when it's cold.
