Mechanix Wear M-Pact Trigger Finger Tactical Gloves - Covert Black

Highly durable and versatile gloves in Covert Black, crafted for professional soldiers and special forces personnel. Ideal for survival missions, automotive repair, DIY activities, airsoft, and paintball scenarios. The Trigger Finger model is designed with the index, middle, and thumb fingers exposed, ensuring optimal firearm manipulation.

Armortex material and synthetic leather, TrekDry fabric

Constructed with a combination of Armortex fabric and synthetic leather, this model delivers superior grip and minimizes slipping on smooth surfaces. The outer shell features breathable TrekDry material to help reduce hand sweat. A secure fit is provided by a velcro strap at the cuff.

TPR panels, D3O inserts

The external surface of the gloves is reinforced with robust TPR panels (thermoplastic rubber), providing protection against impacts and abrasions from external hazards. Segmental construction of the panels ensures unrestricted finger articulation. On the palm side, D3O inserts are integrated to dissipate impact energy and reduce vibrations in the metacarpal zone.

EN388-2121XP standard

The gloves comply with the protective standard EN388 level 2121XP regarding mechanical hazards, with the ratings as follows:

  • 2: abrasion resistance (scale 0-4)
  • 1: blade cut resistance (scale 0-5)
  • 2: tear resistance (scale 0-4)
  • 1: puncture resistance (scale 0-4)
  • X: TDM cut resistance (ISO 13997) (scale A-F)
  • P: impact protection (standard met)

The EN388 rating scales determine the glove’s level of protection: 0 indicates absence of protection, while the highest ratings (4, 5) mark the peak resistance levels.

Letter indicators are applied when performing tests with the TDM method (ISO 13997), where A corresponds to the minimum protection and F to the maximum protection.

The X symbol denotes a parameter that was either not tested or is not applicable. The P symbol confirms that the glove complies with impact protection standards.

TPR

TPR, or thermoplastic rubbeTPR, or thermoplastic rubber, is a material that combines the properties of rubber and plastic. It is flexible and durable, and is often used in the manufacture of tool handles, gaskets, footwear, and many other products, as it provides comfort, good grip and wear resistance.r, is a type of synthetic material that combines the properties of rubber and plastic. TPR is characterized by its flexibility and abrasion resistance.

TrekDry feature
TrekDry

TrekDry is a modern material characterized by high breathability. It effectively wicks moisture away from the surface of the skin, which helps to keep it dry and thermally comfortable during intense physical activity. It fits to the shape of the hand, ensuring freedom of movement and increasing precision during various activities.

Armortex feature
Armortex

Armortex is a durable material that is highly resistant to abrasion, tearing and cutting.  Its special synthetic fiber structure reinforces the areas most vulnerable to damage, and the special texture ensures better grip and a secure hold. It prevents the gloves from becoming wet in contact with water, oil or other liquids.

D3O feature
D3O

D3O is a modern material with intelligent molecules that move freely during normal use. However, at the moment of impact, they fuse together, absorbing and dispersing energy, then rapidly return to an elastic state. As a result, the material effectively reduces vibration, protects hands from injury and reduces hand strain while working.

Very comfortable and warm gloves (except for three fingers, but that's not much of a problem), an excellent alternative to regular gloves with or without fingers. Useful if you need them for cosplay (as always, every cosplayer needs access to a phone 24/7) but don't want to lose out on fingerless ones.

Wonderful gloves, high quality... Strong material. Impact resistant and do not wear out. The size fit perfectly. Light and very comfortable. Fingerless only for three fingers – very convenient...
