    The shield is like any other shield - it does its job. It has extra spikes on the ends that can be driven into the ground to stabilize the whole thing. It worked well in stronger winds. The metal sheets are thin - we'll see how durable they are over time. The included cover is a plus.

    Nice shield. It does its job. You can cover the stove very well from all sides and it is high enough. It has spikes you can drive into the ground for extra security. I deduct one star only for the foil protecting the metal, which wasn't removed at the factory before cutting out the pieces. Removing it is a real hassle, and I was afraid it might melt during use.

    The aluminum shield is very light and useful because it protects from the wind. In windy weather when the flame gets blown out, the shield is essential outdoors. I recommend the Militaria store and this shield. A cover is included in the set.

    Very good shield, light, fairly wide, with a pouch for transport. At this price, unbeatable. However, it's true that you have to work hard to remove the protective foils. :) The shield is quite tall, so with large pots with handles (2-3 liters) on shorter stoves, you can't shield everything from all sides.

    Gas stove bought, cartridges too, mess tin, essential tool as well...and suddenly I find out that a burner shield is necessary, because even a slight wind can cause problems when preparing a meal. So I open the Militaria.pl store and choose what I think (and many users reviewing) is the best shield, with the option for stabilization with pins pushed into the ground. One more can of food and you are ready to head out in the field.

    The shield is great, not tested in the field yet but in a draft at home it passed the test. Without it, the flame was unstable and scattered. Two steel rods on the ends can be driven into the ground to stabilize the shield. But... I'll remember, maybe not for life, stripping the foil off each panel and hinge of this shield...

    The metal is thin, but quite stiff. The whole thing is light. When the shield is folded, it's not very susceptible to deformation. The height is just right to cover the burner flame on the canister. The length is good enough to shield even a pot of considerable diameter.

    Careful craftsmanship, practical packaging, and very low weight. It always fits. Speeds up cooking and reduces gas usage. The foils are really there... but that's just protection for a new product.
