The foam jacket is perfect for cold days and that's what it was bought for – to protect against the cold and rain. I recommend it, the sizing provided in the table matches the actual fit.
Windproof, waterproof, and breathable jacket crafted from a flexible softshell fabric. The interior features a soft-touch lining for enhanced comfort. A functional hood provides reliable protection for the head against rain and low temperatures.
Owing to waterproofing at a level of 8000 mm/m2, the jacket delivers excellent defense against rainfall. The outer surface is treated with a Teflon layer to effectively repel moisture and safeguard against dirt.
A fabric breathability rating of 5000 g/m2 minimizes unwanted perspiration. Additional ventilation openings under the arms can be opened to help avoid overheating during intense activity.
Six well-designed pockets offer functionality and storage versatility in the jacket:
- Two spacious pockets on the abdomen include internal compartments and a headphone port.
- One back pocket under the lumbar area is accessible from both the left and right sides.
- Two sleeve pockets are located at shoulder level.
- A small pocket is found above the wrist on the left sleeve.
The front pockets are situated higher than in traditional jackets, ensuring accessible use even when a backpack’s hip belt is fastened. Each pocket is fitted with a zipper, greatly lowering the risk of losing your essentials.
An additional asset of the Scorpion model is the two-way main zipper, enabling the jacket to be unzipped from the top or bottom for swift access to items such as a weapon at the waist. All zippers are produced by the acclaimed Japanese manufacturer YKK.
A hood with a visor protects the face from running water. When not needed, the hood can be neatly stowed within the collar. Extra safeguards against wind and cold feature Velcro-adjustable cuffs and drawcords at the waist and neck.
Velcro panels (hook-and-loop) on both shoulders are ideal for attaching patches, insignia, national flags, or Morale Patches.

Very nice jacket. Comfortable and functional. Provides good protection against rain and wind. I wore it all autumn and spring. I am satisfied with the purchase. I recommend it.

Softshell is very well made, no flaws, zippers work smoothly and confidently. Plus for the double main zipper and Teflon coating. Already tested in rain and first snow in the Tatra mountains, it holds warmth well and protects against wind. Bought in size L without looking at the size chart and it fit perfectly.
-
Everything as described. So far no complaints, although I haven’t tested it in the rain yet. The sizing is also correct. A very minor note is that the hanger looks a bit flimsy, but I don’t think it will break. Alternatively, hang it without any weight in the pockets.

I bought the jacket at the end of August 2021. It is well-sewn, warm, and handles rain without issue. Breathability could be a bit better during physical activity (like cycling), but the ventilation holes under the armpits and lower back help a bit (in my opinion, the breathability is still a bit too low). The obvious downside is the cuff fastenings/Velcro, which become completely ineffective over time.
-
In general, the jacket is ok, but the workmanship could be better. The Velcro on the cuffs doesn't hold and there are loose threads here and there, but overall the jacket holds up. The jacket is ok (nice), but the workmanship could be a bit better.

I'm really satisfied. After purchasing, I learned that the outer layer is coated with Teflon. The waterproof feature works. Wind is not a problem. I didn't get the size right but I already chose the right one. I recommend getting a bigger size so the sweatshirts fit easily, and as we know, air is also an insulator. The only downside is the elastic cuffs on the sleeves. They're pointless because of the Velcro and just annoying. 5/5

The jacket turned out to be a better purchase than I expected. Not only does it work great in autumn and mild winters, its waterproofness also allowed me to stay relatively dry during a downpour. Definitely worth it.

The best Softshell jacket I've had. Very well made.
-
Super comfortable, I recommend it.

After exchanging for size L (178 cm and 80 kg, no belly), unfortunately, the sleeves were a bit too long. Tightening the Velcro didn't help. Besides that, the sleeves are a bit too 'roomy.' In terms of length, the L is fine. The hood, after taking it out of the collar, sticks out at the sides and doesn't fit close to the back, and the collar, when the jacket is unzipped, sticks out too much, which is bothersome. The material of the jacket is very good, slightly stiff, which I like. The pockets are well-placed, with dividers inside. Militaria doesn’t wrinkle softshells like this during shipping.

The M size for 178 cm and 80 kg (no belly ;-) ) was a bit too tight. Sleeves were okay. Switched to size L. The material is very pleasant to the touch. The main zipper was tight to operate.
-
With the additional lining, you can wear it outside down to about zero degrees. Water droplets form beads on the surface of the material. It protects well against the wind. I bought a size well-fitted in the shoulders and chest, but the jacket could be a bit longer, as it only reaches the waist.
-
Super quality, top shelf. It’s not cheap, but you have to pay for quality, and I have no regrets.

The jacket is as described. Comfortable and light. These front pockets are a bit too high, but it only bothers if someone (like me) likes to walk with their hands in their pockets all the time ;).
