    The speaker works flawlessly with the Midland CT990 EB transceiver. It is louder than the built-in radio speaker. I bought it because of the possibility of connecting headphones via a 3.5 mm mini-jack. The headphones work on only one side. Besides that, the build quality is very good. There is a solid clip for attaching the speaker-microphone.
