Great. I bought it in exchange after making a claim about a knife from another manufacturer, but with the same intended blade release system. Compared to that one, everything in the Predator works precisely, like clockwork. Theoretically, one could only complain that maybe the blade steel is a bit too soft. However, I was not able to verify the "low edge retention" mentioned in the description. Perhaps, for this reason, the knife came from the factory sharpened "like a hatchet," with a double-sided angle of about 25 degrees. After sharpening it to a "fillet" angle, 16 degrees, for mushroom picking, which is what I bought it for, it works perfectly. And since there aren’t any mushrooms that are that tough, I write this "theoretically."

Mikov Predator spring knife stands out thanks to its robust build quality and reliable construction. Of particular interest, one of the Predator models was featured by James Bond in the film "Casino Royale". An ideal tool for everyday carry, EDC (Every Day Carry).
A spear-point blade crafted from 420 stainless steel and hardened to 55 HRC ensures durability. The plain-edge blade is made with a flat grind, delivering excellent cutting performance. The tang of the blade is complemented by a bolster forged from stainless steel.
The handle is fitted with ergonomically contoured scales created from ABS plastic, offering a secure hold even in wet conditions. The scales are securely fixed to the tang with rivets.
Featuring a Lever-lock, the knife offers safe one-handed opening and closing, ensuring protection against accidental activation. A distinctive advantage of Mikov knives is the replaceable opening spring system, which can be swapped without taking apart the knife. This design makes maintenance and repairs straightforward if needed.
A leather sheath equipped with a belt loop is included, enabling convenient belt carry.
NOTE – contrary to common misconceptions, spring knives can be legally bought, possessed, and carried. Polish law places no limitations on knife opening systems, just as there are no restrictions on blade shape or length. I bought this knife as a settlement for a warranty claim for a similar Boker Magnum Automatic knife due to a factory defect in its handle scales. The Predator is almost twice as expensive as the Magnum, but it's also incomparably better made and thought out. I am delighted with both the smooth operation, ergonomics, and the quality of materials. I do not confirm any of the negative comments about the entire Predator knife family on this portal. I am a big guy, but I have no problems opening or closing the blade, and it does not show any blade play in relation to the handle or jamming. Maybe I’ll just have to sharpen it a bit before first use in the field. But that's normal. Highly recommended.

I bought this knife at Militaria, but through Allegro. The workmanship is flawless, but the opening mechanism is somewhat problematic. Raising this "nub" to open the blade is quite difficult due to its slight upward bend and the narrow groove in the handle cover, where you have to insert your finger. I have small hands and thin fingers, yet I still couldn't always manage this task on the first try, and it was quite painful for my thumb. The same goes for folding it. The knife is rather for collectors than for everyday use. It's sharp.
