description

The M2 Compass serves as a precise replica of the M2 artillery model utilized by the US Army. Engineered for accurate azimuth and directional readings, it proves highly effective for both terrain navigation and tactical operations.

A robust composite housing in green reliably shields the internal mechanism from impact. A clasp-secured design safeguards the compass dial during transit. The dial measures 65 mm in diameter, with overall closed dimensions of 70 x 70 x 22 mm.

Featuring a sighting capability, the M2 Compass enables accurate directional alignment. Integrated sighting components, including a front and rear sight, facilitate precise aiming on field targets. The compass needle, mounted on a tang, operates with 1-degree increments, with adjustments possible via a side screw.

An integrated mirror with peep sight in the cover enhances measurement accuracy. Twin spirit levels ensure stable and level readings, even under challenging conditions.

A luminous dial and needle provide visibility in low-light environments. When the case is closed, a locking mechanism secures the dial, preventing unintentional movement or loss of settings.

With its rugged build quality and carefully selected features, the M2 Compass is well-suited for military use, outdoor navigation, and recreational activities.

Review for model:

Picked up this item today from delivery and couldn't be happier. Now I have a real artillery compass! I'm a surveyor by education, so I quickly understood how it works. In the army = an irreplaceable thing. I recommend it, the quality is always at the highest level!

Review for model:

Generally, the equipment is very solid. The altitude measurement works as it should, the parts move as they should. The biggest flaw of this compass is that the scale is reversed, just like the wind rose. You can read the direction with a little practice, but the extra calculation of magnetic declination already poses (for me) a problem. Either it's a manufacturer's error, or Americans are just a bit strange.
