Mil-Tec US Style 2-pcs Modular Sleeping Bag
Two-piece mummy-style sleeping bag inspired by the US Army sleeping bag. Made of durable polyester reinforced with Rip-Stop weave, it features a tough outer layer and warm insulation.
Temperatures and usage conditions
The operating temperatures for the US Style sleeping bag are specified according to ISO 23537-1:2022:
- T-comfort: -5 deg. C – the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night
- T-limit: -11 deg. C – the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort
- T-extreme: -31 deg. C – the lowest temperature at which survival in the sleeping bag is still possible. This is not recommended for regular use.
Polyester construction, soft lining
The outer material is made from Rip-Stop reinforced polyester with a waterproof coating. The inside is lined with a soft polyester fabric for a comfortable night's sleep. The inner and outer sleeping bags are connected by snaps and Velcro straps, and each can also be used separately.
Polyester insulation
The filling is made of synthetic polyester insulation with a weight of 150 g/m2 in the outer bag and 200 g/m2 in the inner bag, ensuring light weight and thermal comfort.
Zipper on the right side, protective flap
The sleeping bag features a double-sided zipper on the right side, secured by a Velcro flap. Inside there is a protective strip to prevent the fabric from catching in the zipper and to reduce heat loss.
