This is the second Mora I've bought - this time the HD version - thicker than the previous one. The knives are sharp and reliable for heavy tasks. The bright sheath color makes it hard to lose while fishing or mushroom picking. I recommend it!
Mora Companion Heavy Duty Stainless Fixed Blade Knife - Orange
A multi-purpose outdoor knife, ideal for hiking, fishing, hunting, and bushcraft activities. Lightweight construction, ergonomic handle, quality steel, and an exceptionally affordable price further support consistent, intensive use. The Mora Companion knife follows the legacy of the acclaimed Clipper model—a time-tested design now upgraded with a longer blade tang and redesigned handle! Offered in the Heavy Duty version—the blade is crafted from reinforced carbon steel and thickened to 3.2 mm.
Clip-point blade profile, Swedish stainless steel
Forged from Swedish 12C27 stainless steel and tempered to a hardness rating of 56.5 HRC, the Clip-Point blade features a flat zero-grind bevel for enhanced edge performance.
Ergonomically rubberized handle
Ergonomically contoured handle crafted from robust plastic and coated with rubber delivers a secure and comfortable grip, even in wet or dirty conditions. A tang, which forms a direct continuation of the blade, is integrated inside the handle at two-thirds of its length.
Plastic sheath with spring steel clip
Supplied with a practical plastic sheath. Due to its specialized construction and integrated drainage hole, even a wet or dirty knife can be safely stored inside. Secure and fast belt mounting is ensured by a spring clip, which also allows attachment to the edge of a pocket or pants.

The thickness and stainlessness make a difference at sea

Great knife, you can easily prepare a campfire stick, just make sure to first grind the spine to a right angle. And the Scandi grind is super easy to sharpen. A knife that's 5+.
