Mora Companion Knife - Military Green
A versatile outdoor knife ideal for hiking, fishing, hunting, and bushcraft pursuits. Lightweight construction, ergonomic handle, quality steel, and a highly competitive price make it perfect for rugged, everyday use. The Mora Companion knife follows in the footsteps of the renowned Clipper model—now featuring an extended blade tang and a redesigned handle for improved performance!
Clip-point blade profile, high-carbon steel
Featuring a Clip-Point blade profile, the knife utilizes a zero-grind flat grind. Coupled with the blade’s relatively thin cross-section, this design offers excellent cutting performance. Forged from Carbon steel C100, the blade demonstrates exceptional strength without brittleness, even when hardened to 58.5 HRC. Moreover, it is easier to sharpen compared to stainless steels.
Ergonomically rubberized handle
The ergonomically designed handle is crafted from robust plastic and features a rubberized coating, providing a secure and comfortable grip, even in wet or dirty conditions. The handle contains a tang, extending two-thirds of the way inside as a continuation of the blade.
Plastic sheath with spring clip
A durable plastic sheath comes included, featuring a unique design with a drainage hole for safely storing your knife, even when wet or dirty. The integrated spring clip ensures fast and secure attachment to your belt, pocket edge, or trouser leg.

A compact-sized knife, the included sheath holds it very well and the knife fits snugly inside. The blade comes from the factory adequately sharpened. Comfortable handle.
-
The sheath for the knife makes a characteristic locking sound. Among the bigger downsides is the unfinished steel at the tip of the knife, hence only 3 stars; this is a minor thing for the manufacturer to polish the steel, as even cheap knives from the market are more polished. On the plus side, there's a good grip, blade, and size.
-
The best possible fixed blade knife. Super sharp, very easy to sharpen, has a very comfortable grip, and fits elegantly in the sheath, which can be attached to anything, even to a button. I recommend it, it's excellent for everything.
-
Taking into account the price, the knife is excellent for basic activities at the campsite. If you don't have overly high expectations, this is the perfect tool for camping trips. I recommend it.
-
As a knife model, I highly recommend it, but not the carbon steel version. The knife spent a few hours in the sheath in the rain and the steel instantly rusted and discolored. I also received a blade that wasn't fully finished, with a lot of burrs on the upper part (photos attached). Overall, a minus for the steel, which requires special maintenance.
-
The Mora Companion knife didn’t meet my expectations. The blade dulled quickly, and the whole thing feels fragile. The handle becomes uncomfortable with longer use. It’s suitable for simple tasks, but nothing more.
-
Universal knife. Easily fits in a backpack or can be strapped on. High quality steel. Used in tough conditions, it passes the test.
-
A good and universal knife for beginners interested in camping and general outdoor living, as well as woodwork in camp. Arrives well-sharpened, flawless, fits nicely in the sheath. Unfortunately, even with medium-heavy use, chips appeared on the cutting edge. I mean whittling stakes (approx. 1 cm in diameter) or chopping off twigs a few millimeters thick from a larger branch. It's not an expensive knife, but I think it should be more durable, especially since I did the above over two days of camping.
-
Very sharp knife. So far, so good. At this price, it’s really a great product. Good sheath. No complaints so far, so I recommend it without reservations.
-
Unbeatable value for money. Fantastic for the forest, comes sharp, has a good sheath, and the 'scandi' grind makes sharpening easy. One of the best purchases, especially for beginners.
-
You won’t find a better knife for the woods at this price. Essential for beginners and great for seasoned forest-goers too. Carbon steel means it’s harder and easier to sharpen, better for woodwork. Stainless version is less for carving and better for food (more resistant to various acids). The engraving on this knife turned out beautifully even though the design was small and fancy. The knife comes very well-sharpened. Highly recommend!

Mora Companion—almost a legend by now. Low price, high-quality workmanship, reliability, and usefulness best describe this knife. Bought as a gift and with free engraving. Highly recommended.
-
Mora as usual – perfect in every aspect, everyone who goes to the forest should have one. For this price, there’s no better knife. Durable, sharp, and universal.
